Unless that reason he was secretly almost 40 the entire time and it doesn't matter that he's 37 and broken now, then who gives a horsefeathers. How do you know he's still hurt? Are all our hurt guys going to be broken when they come back of the IL too, or is this just a SSS Cardinals thing? Maybe? But the 37 year old catcher who was awful this year, has a million miles on his body, was never that good to begin with, and has battled injuries the last few years and has hit .266/.303/.423 with a 92 wRC+ since 2017 is probably a decent bet to be pretty horsefeathering bad moving forward.
