Sometimes I wish we still had Miller at C for his game-calling and fielding...but, I just really didnt like having two automatic outs in one lineup.

Sort of. Wow, you complain over an rbi. I just had an arguement how I hate people being optimistic about this team, but, jeez bash someone for a rbi. If you were being sarcastic/joking, scratch my comment.

Actually, I think the optimism over a .500 team is aggravating. I think "advocating" is kind of a strong word. I wasnt seriously saying it because, I know for a fact, that people here are obsessed and would never turn off the game even if it was something like 10-0 and the Cubs made 5 errors. But, whatever, the issue is done with me.

I thought you were old cause I thought I saw you post something in a thread about how you had been a fan ___ so many years and so forth. I CAN BE PESSIMISTIC WHEN THEY HAVENT WON IN 100 YEARS! Yes, Im freakin shouting. I dont like losing whether Im actually involved or not. Thats why I and others have been successful in sports. You may be satisfied with .500. Im not.

Not all of us are guys and we're watching because its the Cubs... Sorry about assuming everyone was a guy...but 99% of the board are guys so its not something you should be insulted by. No offense, but how old are you? Are you one of those old time cubs fans who are accustomed to losing?..Winning is everything. No, Im not a bandwagon fan. In fact, I was supposed to be raised a Yankees fan, but I do have the right to bitch and moan when a team if completely incompetent. This team is not fun to watch, not just this game, but in general.

oh well. I advise every cubs fan here to turn off the tube (or gamecast). This is ugly and probably going to get uglier..

Actually, well probably only need one since A) Maddux's option will vest B) Kerry will be a starter again. That leaves one spot for Hill or Williams. They are good 5th starters.

D-Lee's average is going to drop a lot even if he bats .300 after the ASB. 1 for 3 is a bad day for D-Lee. Thats too hard to keep up.

Dusty claims he doesnt like players who clog the bases, but the Cubs never seem to steal even with fast-ish guys like Lawton, C-Patt, DLee, and Hairston.
