Marlins - "It's Where You Wanna Be!"- wanna be is used exclusively, as far as I'm aware, as wannabe, a person who wants to be something they can't realistically hope to be. Braves - "The Magic of Turner Field" ... Right. Dodgers - "This is My Town - Dodgertown, USA" I don't hate this one as it's an obvious reaction to having your home market annex a competitor Indians - "Are You IN the Tribe?" IN? Rangers - "Built for fun." no comment Royals - "Welcome to the next 40 Years of Kansas City Baseball" this sounds like a horrible idea for a slogan for a team that has a really good chance to miss .500 White Sox - "There are traditions. And there are White Sox Traditions" Dumb writing, but not "Drink Young" type funny stupid. It is. they're smarter than education, ethnic/gender studies, and sociology students [not an exhaustive list], but that leaves many dozens above them. And it's a really weird situation where you have super-genius math/physics/chem academics discovering things, genius engineers building things, very intelligent executives overseeing the production, and the somewhat above average guy fighting another marketing guy like himself to get his company's product market share.
