  1. He's occasionally on sports radio down here and is such a raging douche. A perfect representative of TBFIB. Just pulling cliches about nearly everything out of his ass about anything and everything. He and HR are probably best buds. And there is this. 2. 7 1/8. Standard blue Cubs hats since I was like 8 years old. I'm wearing one in like half the pictures that exist with me in them.
  3. Greg Amsinger is a Cardinals fan. Is anybody surprised?
  4. Anytime Wood wants to be good again I am ok with that
  5. And then Francona is ejected while asking why Lackey is not ejected for obviously hitting Kipnis. Kluber has K'd 11 with 0 hits through 5. Holliday goes down for significant time and Cardinals get no-hit? Yes, please.
  6. So when do we hear a "Right Field Sucks!" chant?
  7. I'm sure there is a reason, but why are so many of you watching the Mets broadcast?
  8. Yep, I can't [expletive] stand it when they switch to that view in the middle of an AB. You can't see the location of the pitch. Every popup looks like a potential HR. You have no idea where the ball is going on the ground if it's not right up the middle. It's horrible.
  9. At Kauffman they have a section like this where the seats are not bolted down. They are probably a lot more heavy than these stools are. Would be hard to throw one on the field. However, the Wrigley ones I think would be easy to pickup and throw and could even be directed somewhat.
  10. Everyone ready for another soul-crushing BS run?
  11. Glad the Cardinals finally caught a break.
  12. I have been pretty happy with K zone in general the last few years. Felt it was really consistent. This year (at least in Cubs games) it has been ridiculous. And I think Cubs got more help than harm on Monday.
  13. Have I said I love Joe Maddon before? I love Joe Maddon. Oh that is lovely. I am so loving this team. Seriously, even the first two games of this series I was loving this team and just angry at the wizardry of the Cardinals.
  14. Neighbors gave us some sweet Royals seats tonight. 17 rows from directly behind home. Was finally successful in not paying attention to a game in this series. But reading this thread knowing the outcome has given me tons of LOL. Well done, NSBB. Well done. Also, when do we run the Cardinals fan out?
  15. Any other fools not going to watch tonight only to be sucked into the 6-0 lead with Lester going for the no-no in the 8th only to lose 10-6 on a walk off granny?
  16. I was having a good day. Took my boy to his first Royals game today. He loved it. Left a little early because the wife has an early start tomorrow. Get in the car Cubs up 4-1. Listen to the Royals win. Think maybe I can get 780 all the way out here. Turn to 780 to hear Rizzo just got a hit and Bryant is coming to the plate representing the TYING RUN? Trying everything in the world to avoid this series and these guys keep running win probabilities up high enough for me to go ahead and tune in. Freaking Charlie Brown and the football.
  17. Sooooo, Russell and Rizzo's only outs tonight come when everybody else around them finally gets on. Sequencing. Baseball. Cardinals. Sucks
  18. I like Rizzo/Bryant 2/3. The only con is Jorge maybe sees less fastballs?
  19. Moustakas. Lol. Hope he keeps it up though.
