It just seems like even making contact against Wade Davis is extremely difficult for any MLB team. Haha. You thought I was talking about them winning in the ninth. How foolish of you.
I already know these guys are idiots (KC announcers) because I watch them plenty, but I really appreciate their idiocy when they are talking about the Cubs. Have no clue what they are talking about.
I mean, I don't agree with the move at all, and with the conditions, pitch count, their bullpen this game probably is over. And, yes, we have been losing a lot of games the last two weeks, but look at the offense if you want to be pissed.
Not sure if the KC broadcast showed it, but Gordon got a running lead earlier in the at bat, which is why Wada stepped off. Not at all likely, but can at least see why it was on the mind. They did and that's why he was talking about it, but then he was acting like Gordon may still do it when there were 2 strikes.
I am bumming out but grateful as well. We should be boarding our flight to Chicago right now for these next two games, but the 8-month-old gave us a scare with some breathing problems and we are in the hospital again. Grateful that we now know what's wrong and we can start treating it. These nasty respiratory viruses... Thought it was an allergic reaction originally. So, as I look at downtown KC from the hospital room, LET'S GO CUBS!
I am so excited about this series. Going to the Saturday and Sunday game. Love these two teams, but for this weekend may we be singing Go Cubs Go! three times. Also, Alex Gordon, do not run into the brick wall full speed.
