Such a fun season, but from a personal standpoint I was at the first game of four in Milwaukee when Rizzo donged in the 8th. It was my first time seeing KB and Schwarbs in person and Arrieta wore those ridiculous socks. Also went to the Sunday game. Then we surprised my dad with tickets for his 50th birthday (we live 6 hours from Chicago) and went to the whole DBacks series. My uncle from Michigan surprised my dad as well in downtown Chicago on our way to the Saturday game and then we all were in the bleachers for KBs 495-foot dong. I loved the Schwarber game, the Arrieta no-hitter, the Fowler HR in Colorado, Jumbo Diaz giving up a bomb to Soler, the Polanco game, the Bryant walk offs, the Castro walk offs, the whole Giants series and in general the 7-0 against the Mets. The DH sweep of the Cardinals was nice too. And actually the Montero's bases-clearing double in the Peralta game was awesome. Maddon's press conference today. I'm taking my son to Wrigley for the first time against the Pirates. Even though he's only nearly 1 and won't remember that will be a big moment for me.
