  1. I would love for the Cubs to clinch at home. They could realistically go into NY needing just one or two wins to clinch HFA.
  2. I am literally laughing out loud. That picture in my mind is hilarious.
  3. I am now getting the fever. I think the Cubs could clinch against MIL on Thursday! I know I am being way too optmistic, but the Cubs are going North and the Brewers are going South.
  4. I have to leave this board. You guys are just too far ahead. I still have 4-0. What did Soto do?
  5. If they had asked for TB or ATL for 2 or 3 on Thursday they would have gotten it. I do not feel sorry for them.
  6. You guys are WAY ahead of me! YES!
  7. Um, 1st and 2nd, 0 outs, top of the order. This is disheartening. I hope DLee does something good...
  8. This is wrong. The Brewers have been selling out for a while now. Selling out and being full are 2 very different things. Do you really think Miller Park isn't packed most days, at least before the recent slide? This isn't a case like the 2006 Cubs where they sold a ton of tickets, the team ended up sucking so no fans wanted to go out there for the last month or so. I remember earlier this year when MIL was 8.5 GB and they still were having sellouts. This is not the year to rip Milwaukee fans. They have been showing up extremely well this year. Agreed. I hope that a good rivalry comes from this for years. But they need some pitchers to replace Sheets and CC.
  9. Why are the Astros wearing grey pants?

  11. SWEET! MLB.tv is working now! I don't have to chase down Bud and let the trunk monkey loose on him.
  12. Down with ESPN and down with Bud Selig. So the MIL/PHI game 2 is blacked out and the Cubs game is blacked out for me and I am NOT happy.
  13. I was sitting just off 1st base when he did that. We were all making so much fun of him.
  14. They changed that last week. I tried to log in on mine. It said there were multiple users b/c my bro and friend were using it. I guess it worked b/c one of them bought their own.
  15. Man. I doubt I can even watch in on MLB.tv. It will probably be blacked out. I NEED CUBS BASEBALL!
  16. I can't make any promises. They autorenewed me one time when I didn't want it. It took forever to get it off, but I did. They don't have the best customer service and you have to wait on hold forever (especially this time of year)...
  17. Collins Pick-Six! Oh baby!
  18. WOODSON Pick-Six! Pack up BIG! Game over!
  19. 60-yd hookup! Come on Pack! Push it in!
  20. Is anybody watching the Pack game? NFL Game Center said Mason Crosby just had a -2-yd run on 1st down???? Crosby's a kicker.
  21. It is very sad, but true. As a Mizzou/Packers fan it kills me b/c Pinkel has a hard time running out the clock with a lead as well. Even though they won, just look back to the kU game last year and the Illinois game last year and this year.
  22. Isn't it Thursday? --------------------------10 Brewers DH on Sunday------ (-2) Cubs Sunday-------------- (-3) Cubs Monday------------- (-4) Cubs/Brewers Tuesday------ (-6) Cubs/Brewers Wednesday---- (-8) Cubs/Brewers Thursday----- (-10) ------------------------- 0 If you want to use that sort of math sure Huh? They still can clinch on Thursday. I guess it's more clear to put it this way. The Brewers play 2 on Sunday and 3 in the Cubs series 2+3=5. The Cubs play 2 against HOU and 3 against MIL 2+3=5. Each time the Cubs beat the Brewers the MN goes down 2. So: 10 (current Magic Number) -5 (potential Brewer losses) -5 (potential Cubs wins) ------------------- 0 I was joking, I counted wrong :) Gotcha.
  23. 2-run HR for Howard. 3-3, bottom 6. Bush is laboring.
  24. Anybody else see Hart almost drop that ball in right? It would have tied it at 3. But after 5, it's 3-1 Brewskies.
