then he'll drop bunts down the third base line everytime... When teams started pulling the huge lefty pull shift on Edmonds he started putting bunts down the third-base line and they quit. I never understood why Bonds didn't do that, but then I remembered his name is Barry Bonds.

Yes and yes. Good. Although I like the idea of having different home and road caps, I haven't seen a good Cubs road cap idea yet.

I'm pretty pumped. Why? Not because I think this is the year. I am not foolish. I am excited because it is now the best time of the year and we are contenders. At this point in the year that's all that matters. You can't even really think of the WS or playoffs yet. I'm going to enjoy this season. That said, if they go 0-for-3 again I'm not gonna be happy... Happy Opening Day!

I have very mixed opinions on getting a new stadium. If it is done similar to what the Yankees did, then I would probably be fine with it. However, I DO NOT want a jumbotron. It won't be long before they're having hat dances and all kinds of stupid stuff that has nothing to do with the game, including advertisements and such. I would be fine with one that was solely baseball related (lineups, replays, etc.), but that won't happen. The jumbotron will be used in those ways, and it's not worth the baseball info we would get from them.

The game on the third will be on MLB Network while the game on the fourth will be on CSN. that sucks for the rest of the countryy that actually wants to see the game. give me the days of four five stations ABC, NBC, CBS, WGN and PBS Both games will be free on mlb.tv for everybody. You just need to setup a free account. -

I was thinking about this. They are changing the name to Miami. Now all we need is for them to move to the AL and change their team name. The new ballpark is ugly as sin. -

I'm looking at mine and wondering why Purdue and Texas are in the Elite Eight and why I have A&M beating UConn. I am also wondering why I thought Mississippi St. would win today. That's the only thing messing my bracket up thus far.

i get what your saying, but in the (Points= seed x round) format, there the most important games until the weekend. I guess it's gimmicky and different but that seems like a stupid way to run a pool. Much like the fools who just go 1-2-3-4-5-6 so you get no credit for picking the champ. I never liked the doubling format either. How would you do it then, out of curiosity? I've committed to the 1-2-4-8-12-16 format. Much less than that at the end and you can get no credit for the deep rounds which is what should really count. Much more and the first couple rounds might not matter. I like that. I think 32 for the champ is ridiculous, but it should still be a lot.
