  1. This series has been insane from behind the plate.
  2. Interesting that Lee takes two close pitches outside and they're called balls right after we discussed it.
  3. I wish this would have happened on their opener. Haha.
  4. Hopefully we bat around on the Cards bullpen and he only comes in to get some work in a 5-run game.
  5. I like Oquendo but I only laughed b/c I could tell he was ok.
  6. you're doing it wrong. I was just pointing out the Will and Clark things.
  7. Hornsby makes his way to first after four wide ones.
  8. Since he already walked Willie McGee and Jack Clark, he has now walked Will Clark.
  9. Yeah, but it was nowhere near where he wanted the pitch. That doesn't get called much. Cotts can jump off a bridge.
  10. Good idea. Get Cotts in there so Marmol has to get used in the 7th. Not that it matters who starts the inning. Marmol is going to have to put out the flames anyway.
  11. Seems like he calls whatever suits his fancy at the time He's using a computer-generated random variable system on his clicker. Cotts throw strikes.
  12. Anybody want to take 10,000:1 odds that Cotts doesn't go 1,2,3?
  13. I was thinking, if Miles walked it would be 4-4, bottom 6th, bases juiced. If Bradley pinch-hit the only difference would be 2 outs instead of 1. But, I'll take our current situation.
  14. Two out rallies. The best on offense! The worst on defense!
  15. Perfect! That's exactly what you want in that situation.
  16. In general, Fuku seems to have pitches called strikes on the outside that I see no other hitter in baseball get called on. Lee gets a lot of pitches called strikes that are low. Although, I hate it, it is kind of understandable. Actually, I've thought for a while that Lee gets calls that most of the Cubs don't get. It seems like he does on the outside, but not down, but that's just me and obviously it's not scientific.
