  1. The team that won the Super Bowl against the 19-0 Patriots? The team that won four games on the road/neutral site against teams that they had already lost to at home in the regular season?
  2. oh I don't know I've seen 1.25 good games today. I might be going 0-4 this week wow. I enjoyed the Bears playoff game. which one? The one where we won to go to a super bowl that wasn't 13 years ago. The Super Bowl that the Bears lost?
  3. Punt the ball!
  4. This was the first thread posted to Transactions, where the topic belongs. Gotcha.
  5. Tramon Williams looks like he is lost. Aaron Rodgers needs to settle down. The Packers need to run the ball still. And, for once can a fumble bounce in our direction? 0-for-3.
  6. Wow, just throw the ball to Tramon Williams' side of the field.
  7. I don't really care, but why wasn't this thread locked and the other one given an updated title? Isn't that usually how it works?
  8. I think it could be the Cardinals for the sole fact that Mozeliak just said they have about $6 MM more to spend this offseason if they feel like it. It wouldn't make a lot of sense because they have other holes to fill. Supposedly the Astros are out and I don't think the Cubs did it...
  9. Per MLBTR http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2010/01/aroldis-chapman-agrees-to-30mm-deal.html
  10. It could have something to do with the fact that the Rangers have not had good pitching during most of Vladdy's AL career... EDIT: Sorry VolCub, didn't see your post.
  11. It's a hell of a tough place to come into and win. I'm guessing the tide will turn when you visit Manhattan. All I know is today's game was awesome to be at.
  12. You can't blame that on him at all.
  13. Texas would have a lot better chance if it were 14-0, but that Texas D is looking pretty good.
  14. I point this out all the time, Pujols has horrible footwork and it causes him to not make scoops on bad throws that he should be able to get to.
  15. I'm not necessarily for trading between the two leagues. I just like the thought of a true World Series. As already stated, we do have a true World Series. The best players in the world play MLB.
  16. I hope this never happens. Also, it's not very intelligent to propose free trading between the 2 leagues. American kids don't dream of making it to the majors so they can get traded to Asia without their own approval. Same could probably be said for a few Japanese players.
  17. Here's how I think the playoffs will play out. Wild Card Packers over Cardinals Cowboys over Eagles Jets over Bengals (Bengals are 3-4 in last 7, 3 wins against CLE, DET and KC) Patriots over Ravens Cowboys over Vikings Packers over Saints Chargers over Patriots Colts over Jets Packers over Cowboys (Hardest game to pick in the entire playoffs) Colts over Chargers Colts over Packers (Hope this is wrong)
  18. Has anybody else noticed that the Packers have a chance to go 3-0 in Glendale this year (including preseason)? I wonder if anybody else has even had the opportunity to play 3 games in another teams stadium in one season, much less win them all. And to think the Cardinals are the defending NFC Champs. Just get it done Pack!
  19. Spreadsheet analysis of trades made by GMs in the NL Central. Have to download an Excel spreadsheet. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2010/01/gm-trade-histories-nl-central.html EDIT: Oops. Meant to put it in General Baseball Discussion.
  20. So I think the Packers scenarios are like this: If they win they play Arizona because that would guarantee them the 5 seed because they will either finish ahead of Dallas or tied with Dallas and Philadelphia. In that situation Dallas gets the division and the Packers would hold the tiebreaker over Philadelphia (5-1 record for the Packers in common games with Philadelphia who are 3-2). Also the loss by Arizona guarantees them the 4 seed. Packers win: Packers @ Cardinals Packers lose (therefore Arizona wins), Philadelphia wins, Minnesota wins: Packers @ Cardinals Packers keep 5 seed and Arizona keeps 4 seed. Packers lose (therefore Arizona wins), Dallas wins, Minnesota wins: Packers @ Cardinals Packers drop to 6 seed (Philadelphia is 5 seed) but Arizona moves to 3 seed by virtue of tiebreaker over the Cowboys. Arizona would be 3-2 in common games with Dallas who would be 2-3. Packers lose (therefore Arizona wins), Philadelphia wins, Minnesota loses: Packers @ Vikings Packers keep 5 seed. Arizona becomes 3 seed (they beat the Vikings). Minnesota becomes 4 seed. The chance for redemption! Packers lose (therefore Arizona wins), Dallas wins, Minnesota loses: Packers @ Cowboys Packers drop to 6 seed. Arizona gets 2 seed. Dallas gets 3 seed because they have a better conference record than Minnesota. Minnesota gets 4 seed. Too bad there isn't a way to have Packers vs. Vikings AND Eagles vs. Cowboys.
  21. Eagles would win it because the Vikings would have to lose a game which would be to the Bears or Giants and both are NFC games. Oh, I was looking at the Cowboys conference record, not the Eagles. Thanks.
  22. Does anybody know what the tiebreaker would be for the Vikings and Eagles if they end up tied for the first round bye?
  23. I think our clinching chances are looking pretty good...
