  1. At this point for me I want to see the Packers remain healthy and win out. I want the Saints to settle for the 3 seed so they have to win twice (once on the road) before they even get a shot at the Packers in Lambeau. And, I want the Broncos to win their division.
  2. Looks like I get to see the Packers go for #20 and clinch the #1 seed in the playoffs next week at Arrowhead! Go Pack Go! Also, I have a man-crush on Tim Tebow.
  3. I wonder if the Royals will think about a package for Garza. I doubt it happens, but if they really think they may contend this season then they might think about it. Their system is really deep.
  4. I wore my David DeJesus Royals shirt as an undershirt today. Had no inkling the Cubs would sign him today. Who wants to help me pay for shirts of other free agents that we'd like to see on the North side?
  5. 11-0 and Suh didn't kill Rodgers. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
  6. This has been one of the biggest offseasons for change.
  7. wow thats a beautiful park. The HR celebration thing... well it'll be unique heh... It ruins a perfectly good stadium.
  8. I would love for that to be true.
  9. http://miami.marlins.mlb.com/mia/ballpark/webcam.jsp Webcam shows the size of the HR celebration thing...
  10. I don't care how good of a career he's going to have. I love Tebow. Glad his team is winning games.
  11. Severely disappointed. Would like either 4 or 6 teams per league, not 5. Would rather have 3-game series instead of a 1-game do or die. Nothing to add to the discussion, just my opinion. Whatever, win 6 straight divisions and I won't really care.
  12. First regular season game I went to was the Giants game last year. I'm going to the Bucs game on Sunday. Please don't blow that streak. You're a jerk and I hate you. I've never been to Lambeau for a game. :( I can't wait to someday pay $300+ to sit in horrible seats at Lambeau. Seriously, I can't wait.
  13. 9-0 on the season. 15-game winning streak. Domination. Hopefully the Packers defense is back to stay.
  14. When your offense is as good as the Packers, fumbling a punt and returning a TD is a net negative. Cobb has done it both times he's returned a TD this year. Can't let teams back in the game, and Cobb's muffs often do just that.
  15. Since November 25, 2010 the Packers, Lions, and Bears are a combined 29-7 in games not played against each other. 3 of those 7 losses were against the 14-2 Patriots, 2 against Atlanta, 1 against San Francisco, and 1 against New Orleans. The NFC North is very, very good. Bears are 15-6 since the end of October last year with losses to New England, GB (3 times), New Orleans, and Detroit. Packers are 14-0 in their last 14 and 19-3 their last 22 with losses to Atlanta, Detroit, and New England. Lions are 10-3 their last 13 with losses to Chicago, San Francisco, and Atlanta.
  16. Packers/Bears rivalry is much more honorable than this, and this is clearly all on Detroit. http://packerswaitinglist.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/charlesmartin.jpg Clearly How many players, coaches, etc. that were around for that game have anything to do with either team today? http://www.chicagonow.com/chicago-bears-huddle/files/2011/09/hester_40-e1317069218214.jpg Didn't say it was. The Lions are just really trashy. I've felt that way most of the season. They do not handle winning or losing very well. I understand Bears fans hating the Packers more than the Bears. I was not saying that they shouldn't. I was pointing out that the current rosters of the Packers and Bears have more respect for each other than the Lions and Bears have for each other. AND I was pointing out that it's all the Lions fault. Not trying to stir anything up at all.

  19. RUMBLE! Lions are trashy.
  20. Bears are 14-6 their last 20 games (assuming they close this game out). Their losses have been to New England, Detroit, New Orleans, and the Packers. They are a good team. I don't think they ever got the recognition last year, nor are they getting it this year. It doesn't appear that Thom and Billick weren't willing to give them any credit early in the game either.
  21. It wouldn't surprise me if Matheny ends up being a good manager, but I'm not exactly terrified that he's going to be a wonderful manager.
  22. I'm kind of torn on who I want to win the Giants/Niners game. I think SF will finish with a better record than NY, so I want NY to win to potentially give the Packers a 2-game lead for home-field. But, getting a bye is more important to me than home-field. Especially since the Packers may actually benefit from better weather in SF than in GB in late January. If the Giants win today, it could make the Packers game in NY much more important than I'd like it to be. I think I want NY to win, but I don't know.
  23. Falcons just marching down the field with the same play 3 times out of 4.
  24. Not sticking up for Dusty at all, but the scenario you just suggested is one where Mike Maddux may leave his pitcher in. He was the pitching coach for Nolan Ryan's team who was very open about ignoring pitch counts. Now would Maddux have let Prior stay out there during that inning without so much as a mound visit? I doubt it. Just saying, Maddux isn't going to make that decision based on pitch count. As someone posted, they were very good about not abusing pitchers though. So while they build up arm strength thru conditioning, Maddux isn't likely to have guys throwing 130+ pitches all the time. I agree. He's not going to make that decision based solely on pitch count.
