On reddit it was mentioned that on the score someone reported Theo has had to sitdown with Russell multiple times about his partying. Anybody know where I can find a link to this online. Just listened to a bunch of the score interviews from today (gammons, coomer, kasper, dicario) & didnt hear this part. Also is there a link to the press conference?

What I dont get is how the injury is a deep bone bruise? That doesnt seem pitching related. Hit by a ball, fell down, bar fight.. maybe. But how do you get a deep bone bruise that keeps you out since july 18th without some contact?

They have Kopech gone till 2020 and the chance Cease isn't a reliever with a good half from Rodon? Is consider them lucky if they sniff the success or the 03 Cubs & 15 Mets pitching staffs and teams. I do miss Eloy though.

Because he’s hitting like a pitcher since the break. Doesnt horsefeathering matter you dont bunt with your middle of the order catcher there even if hes been sucking. Ive never seen Willy ever look good bunting. Idk if it was him or Maddon being too cute there but it was horsefeathering stupid. Russell is an idiot but he likely isnt extending his lead that much if they arent pulling that [expletive] bunt attempt.

Meatball take but im officially done with Addison Russell. My hot take is that hes an idiot on and off the field, makes zero adjustments and will likely keep sucking. Also why in the horsefeathers was Contreras bunting. Absolutely disgusting.

Not saying hes the real deal but didnt he do pretty well the last 2 years in the minors plus a great Arizona Fall League this past year. Didnt see much in the media but he had a lil buzz in spring training too down here in AZ. -

Ive said it since he was a prospect that Javy reminds me more of the skinny lightning quick mid 90s Sammy but playing elite up the middle defense. Even mid 90s free swinging Sammy probably had better walk rates though. But thats more than made up for with Javy's defense, baserunning and premium position.

Three starters to above average players in their early 20s cost controlled plus an Amaya & pitching prospect doesnt get you close? Trout is awesome but these superstar deals never fetch as much as people always guarantee they will cost. Some teams can offer better prospects that also very well may never end up close to as good as Russell & Happ. Trout isn't just a superstar... He's BY FAR the best player in MLB and in his prime. It would take an insane offer for the Angels to even consider trading him. Trouts better but looked what extemely young Arod and Miguel Cabreras fetched in a trade. Im not saying that 5 for 1 deal gets it done. But 3 young bonafide mlb players that were elite prospects plus 2 more good prospects has to put you in the convo. -
