  1. Your level of insight fails to clear the low bar of basic game thread stupidity I'm pretty sure this "CincyCubsFan" is anything but a Cub fan.
  2. JD commented on how hard it is to bunt against Chapman. I don't know.
  3. The maturity of Willy to go out and calm down Stropy. Likey.
  4. Rondon. Strop pitched yesterday but only threw 4 pitches.
  5. Kyle's getting squeezed on his low ball forcing him to get the ball up a bit. I blame the ump.
  6. And Diaz was moved to LF.
  7. A ton of rain all day, cold, flooding everywhere with multiple road closures, and to top it off they moved the game to a night game instead of a day game. I'll give them a pass on attendance tonight.
  8. Really? That was a huge double play if that's what you're referring to, the Cub players would react exactly the same way.
  9. Regardless of what happens today, we're going to need Kyle to go at least 7 or 8 tomorrow.
  10. Not trying to be pessimistic about Miggy's health, but as a consolation Caratini's raking at Iowa.
  11. Who's going to be the hero today? I'm going with Javy.
  12. Shake it off Carl. You get a pass because you're awesome.
  13. Fair enough. It probably feels more strange to me because we start every single game down by a run or two after an inning. That could be it, too. And it probably is, at least mentally, for us fans. And, sure, I'd love to blow some teams out, too. I think those blowouts will come. But until we get this rotation back on track, it's not going to be easy. The key is fixing it -- through trade or just guys improving. But we can survive alright until that happens. I think there's a good chance Jed and Theo add a starter before the deadline. Whether they go all in on a Chris Archer type or just a decent 5th starter is the main question.
  14. It happens to all reigning champs in every sport. The opponents want to beat the champs and it brings out the best in them. The Cubs will be facing this all year.
