You make ZERO sense. You almost make negative sense which is impressive. Firing Dusty and getting an interim manager will allow our youngsters to play and allow us to get an idea of what we have in our system. It will also allow us NOT to EVER see Neifi Perez batting 2nd. It will allow us to make sure Zambrano doesn't get ridden to an arm injury. In fact, despite the fact that "that's all you're going to say", it doesn't make ANY sense to keep him lame duck through the season. I'm all for firing Dusty right now but I don't think an interim manager is going to come in here and play a lot of untested youngsters. Remember, he is interim and needs to do something to convince Hendry to keep him. Playing .350 ball probably won't get him the gig permanently. The cubs are on pace for 100 losses. I obviously don't trust Hendry, but I think he'd give someone who came in at this point some leeway, especially if he was clearly working to make the team better for next season. Remember, Dusty is harming Hendry by not trying to make the Cubs better for next year I wish I shared your optimism about Hendry but really, Hendry and Baker are a page from the same book. And it's a horror novel.
