3 days to the deadline and still nothing from Jed, I'm getting ready to be underwhelmed.

I think people are forgetting, based on how he pitched for the Cubs, how big a name Quintana was. The guy posted 4.9, 4.3 and 4.9 fWAR seasons before the season he was dealt to the Cubs and even in that season he posted a 4.0. That 3 year stretch put him at #8 in all of baseball, barely behind Jon Lester and ahead of such names as Cueto, Bumgarner, Hamels, Greinke and Strasburg.

Henderson is a top 100 prospect, who has dominated in his first 4 mlb starts. I think that is a lot of wishful thinking to find those comparable.

If Logan Henderson is legitimately on the table for Suarez then I hope the Cubs are out. That's at least equal to giving up Wiggins which is just insane for 2 months of Suarez.

It irritates the living hell out of me that Andrew Vaughn is suddenly prime Miguel Cabrera now that he's on the Brewers. Over 1.000 OPS and more walks than strikeouts since joining them.

The rumor a week or so ago was the Twins wanted 2 top 100 guys for each of Jax or Duran to move them. If that's the case then the ask on Ryan must be absurd.

There is no excuse for allowing Ben Brown to continue taking the mound. It's just throwing away games.

Caissie for Keller would not make me happy. Not that I don't think Keller is solid, but his contract is not that hugely different than it would be in FA. There's certainly a discount there, but i don't think it's big enough to warrant Caissie when Keller as a pitcher is more solid than good.

Really surprised by the complete lack of Ks for Cade so far. Like I didn't expect him to retain his 10+K/9 from the minors, but I certainly didn't expect him to be neck and neck with Colin Rea in the K/9 department. I also think that makes him pretty exciting. He's not really missing bats yet and he's still a solid pitcher with decent peripherals.

I'm starting to sell myself on Alcantara. Not in an everything equal kind of way, but more in a if he can be acquired without any of Caissie/Rojas/Ballesteros/Wiggins/Conrad then I think I'd pull the trigger.

Just eyeing his swing, but I really feel like there should be some more pop in there. Nothing crazy like 25hr pop, but maybe like 15hr pop would be just fine. -

Unless Ryan, Gore or Cabrera are available I find it rather unlikely Caissie is going anywhere.
