There is no way you can justify having Dansby this high in the order. Before today he was hitting .187 with men on base and .147 with RISP.

He's a FA next year, I'm sure he doesn't care where he pitches this year as long as he remains in a rotation. Going to the pen would drastically hurt his money making potential in the off season.

I'm never big on grabbing guys with significant swing and miss issues unless they take lots of walks and have absolutely prodigious power too. Maybe if Aloy could stick at SS, but everything I've read made it sound like 2B is inevitable. Kilen just sounds so much like a guy the Cubs would value to me. -
Only because Civale asked for a trade following being moved to the bullpen after the Brewers brought up Misiorowksi into the rotation.

I do want Horton and I have no idea why they went back to not having an opener for Brown after he dominated back to back starts with one. Rea for me is the easy drop.

It's not about Chapman not being good, it's about him being a dick. I'm not dumb enough to believe all the current Cubs are nice guys, but when I actively know a player is a dick, then I'm not interested in bringing them in. I'm not going to cheer for a piece of horsefeathers just because he's on my team.
