    Who else is out there worth spending big on? Maybe Bell? Bell sent a letter to all the teams pleading not to draft him because he's going to school. Asking for a $30 million bonus is negotiating. Telling teams not to bother until 2014 is not. Even so I would mind the Cubs taking the chance a little later on.

    Good that leaves them no money to resign Kemp in 2013. He'd look good in another blue uniform.

    This doesn't sound at all like anything else i've read on him. Yeah a lot of this is the opposite of what I've been hearing. I had read he has power potential, but has contact issues and he'd most likely have to move to 3B

    God, Strasburg,Storen, Harper and Rendon in the last 3 drafts. That's a good decade let alone 3 year stretch.

    yeah this number 2 and number 7 pick are the huge ones on determine who is there for the Cubs.
