    I honestly can't believe there's any discussion about not picking up Shota's option. Outside of the last month and a half or so of 2025, he's been very very good. There's no one out there with similar money who is going to give you what Shota is likely to. If we're shopping any starter it should be Taillon who is moved to bring in a pitcher via trade.

    Also, QBR is 100% horsefeathers Daniels has a pick and a fumble, fewer yards than Caleb and has a 69.6 QBR because 3 TD passes Caleb has no turnovers, more yards, a passing TD and a rushing TD but gets a 37.2 QBR QBR is a worthless stat that apparently gives way way too much weight to completion %

    He was more or less a decoy outside of that first drive, something was clearly not right with him.

    I still don't believe they're more than say a 7 to 8 win team, but these last two wins have been huge for their confidence and they're going to need all they can get for that brutal last 1/3 of a season.
