    I'd legit be surprised if they didn't choke. This entire team outside of about 4 guys barely even bothered to show up for the playoffs.

    Just such an obvious out come that they'd score early and then not score again and get chased down.

    This offense straight up sucks. I double down. I don't want anything spent on SP, everything needs to go to bats.

    The pitching has not been good, but when the offense has scored 12 runs in 5 games it doesn't much matter even if the pitching is good.

    Boyd and Shota absolutely collapsing.

    I just want Illinois to keep it within 14, anything more than that is a victory.

    I've never seen a team force a running back by committee like Seattle. It doesn't matter who has the hot hand, they're going to alternate series. Walker averaging over 8 ypc and they keep swapping him out.

    So who had Rico Dowdle going for over 200 rushing yards today?

    Nope, horrible since the hot first quarter.

    The Jets are remarkably terrible.

    This might be the last game Fields starts. You cannot be this terrible against this Cowboy defense.

    Carolina needs to be all in on a new QB, Bryce Young just isn't it. He flashed a bit last year but he's just bad.

    So exactly when can we expect the Blackhawks not to be terrible? We're on year 3 of Bedard and I'm not sure they're much closer then they were in year 1.

    If Penn St loses to UCLA they shouldn't even be in the top 25. This is significantly worse than Illinois getting drummed by a now top 10 Indiana squad> UCLA hasn't even won a game yet. With that said, looks like Penn St has finally woken up and I expect this one to not end being all that close.

    I'm not even mad at the pitching and I certainly don't want to go spend big on a FA pitcher in 2026. Offense and pen, spend it all on that.

    If Illinois had any kind of running game at all they'd be a legitimately scary team, but this run game is just awful.

    I mean at least get him in to PH or something. Have the Cub pinch hit a single time?

    They really need to figure out a way to get Ballesteros in these line ups. They score 6 runs over 3 games and just keep marching the same lineup out there.

    I think any hope of Amaya coming back died when he couldn't get regular season ABs. They aren't going to bring him back to his first game action in a long time while in the playoffs.

    I was kind of referring to this. If the pitches all look the same at the release point then the batter has to guess until they can identify the spin type and by then good luck.

    God can you imagine being able to trot Steele/Boyd/Shota/Horton out there for your play off rotation with guys like Taillon/Rea/Assad available to eat multiple innings. I really do think the 2026 rotation has the chance to be super filthy.

    As long as they look the same as the ball is being released I don't think it matters a terrible amount.
