  1. Random thought, but I think there's about a 0% chance Khalil Herbert is a Bear next year. They've finally realized his blocking is far too awful to put him out there. He only had 6 carries against the Vikings and on Sunday and he only had 3 against the Lions. Whether it comes via trade or simply being cut, I don't see him being rostered next year. Roschon is going to be your guy and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they re-sign Foreman on a 1 year deal.
  2. Kyle Pitts is one of the most tragically under utilized talents in the NFL that I can remember. It just blows my mind the level of RB/WR/TE talent they have and the offense is still bad. It's like the perfect nightmare storm of a bad QB and a coach that just refuses to even consider moving off his philosophy to suit the talent he has.
  3. Because I'm not convinced there's a huge gap between Maye/Williams and Daniels. Like I said, I'd have to watch Daniels more, but from what I've seen I think it's pretty minimal.
  4. He's having severe mental issues right now so much so that he basically was almost entirely out of contact with the Tigers in 2023. I'm worry to say, but his days as a baseball player are probably over.
  5. Yes but I think most of us take our miserableness out in the social hidden section.
  6. I'm starting to wonder if maybe the best use of assets, if you want a QB, would be take MHJ at #1 move back to around #10-12 with your 2nd pick and take Jayden Daniels. I still haven't seen enough of him to be super well informed, but the reports are very positive. My only instant concern is that he has WRs that are way too good for their competition. So is he getting carried by his WRs, or is he part of the reason they look so good?
  7. The Ricketts bought the Cubs?
  8. Chicago is a small market after all. We can't compete with those other big cities. Remember when we thought Ricketts was going to be a rockstar owner? Those were good times.
  9. Being down a near mvp candidate is enough by itself
  10. I am actively cheering against the Chiefs. I've never seen players, coaches and a fanbase cry more over a blatantly obvious penalty being called.
  11. Not good for the game and it's going to cost baseball fans.
  12. You don't completely ignore it, but more recent games should hold more weight especially if it's a continuing trend. With that said, if he even goes out and puts up an a decent game against Clevand, I'm going to be super impressed. I'm expecting a pretty big disaster.
  13. I mentioned that earlier and just imagine if Yamamoto ends up in LA. Good luck pulling any elite talent in Japan away from the Dodgers for the next 15 years. It'd be kind of similar to what WGN did for the Cubs for so long, but on a much grander and more concentrated scale.
  14. I don't think Fields is by any means lighting the world on fire, but over his last 6 games this is what we're looking at QB Rating Lions 88.3 Vikings 87.3 Lions 105.2 Vikings 36.7 Commanders 125.3 Broncos 132.7 Over that time he is 10TD/2INT He's had 1 terrible game, 2 adequate games, 1 good game and 2 great games. It's not good enough to no question want him back, but it's also not bad enough to want him gone regardless. It's solid performance that likely puts him in the upper half of NFL QBs.
  15. Because apparently making competition for your own program is good business somehow?
  16. If move doesn't get done by the end of this weekend, I'm officially going to be in greatly worried mode.
  17. So if you haven't noticed, the Dallas kicker is pretty much in god mode territory. He has yet to miss a kick this year and made both a 59 and 60 yard field goal last night.
  18. He has been a huge horsefeathers from day 1
  19. If you're going to give Bellinger 200M he has to at least start the contract in CF. That also means shopping PCA for the best arm you can get that has at least a few years of control. You don't give 200M to a 1B not named Freddie Freeman.
  20. If the Dodgers get Yamamoto too and spend literally 1 billion dollars on 2 guys, I'm going to really have to reevaluate how much time i dedicate to following baseball.
  21. Minnesota and Oakland playing one of the worst football games of the modern era. 9 minutes to go in the game and no one has scored.
  22. Fields facing the hardest match up of the year for him next week. Cleveland is #1 in ypg. I have very low expectations.
  23. If they finish 7-10 or 8-9, I think Eberflus stays. I don't agree with it, but the McCaskey's are extremely conservative and they'll point to the improvement of going from 3 wins in 2022 to 7 or 8 in 2023.
  24. While I'd agree, the Bears have won 3 of 4 and if they win 3 of the final 4, I have a hard time believing a lot of change is coming following a 6-2 run to end the year.
  25. With Arizona still on the schedule and a very mediocre Atlanta team, I'm not sure they stay in the top 10.
