  1. Guys I'd love if they were able to had at #76 DT T'Vondre Sweat C Sedrick Van Pran Edge Bralen Trice
  2. This is why you absolutely keep him on this roster despite Odunze. If he can teach Odunze how to run routes like that, Odunze becomes a true monster.
  3. Sox were winning 2-0 through 5 innings and ended up losing 6-3 taking their record to 3-22.
  4. Sounds like MHJ is locked in at #4 unless someone trades up to take him before that.
  5. What do we know about Sam Armstrong? He was a 13th rounder in last year's draft and was pretty uninspiring in limited innings last year, but has been impressive so far. The only thing I've seen is that he sits 93-94 with his fastball. The scouting details seem to be far and few on him.
  6. Exactly this, unless it's Turner.
  7. as of right now Byron Murphy +100 Rome Odunze +350 Jared Verse +1000 are the 3 with the best odds
  8. I haven't given up hope just yet. Last year he started horribly and then in the week or two before he got sent down he was making lots of loud contact that kept finding defenders. Hopefully he starts showing that hard contact again pretty soon.
  9. The fact that many think he has maxed out his frame is concerning, but he's supposed to be an explosive freak athlete for the position.
  10. It's hilarious how quickly things have changed. He goes from having about the most disastrous start possible to all of a sudden being a 21 year in AA, who plays a premium position and is posting a 146 wRC+ which would warrant top 30 prospect consideration if he finished the season with that line.
  11. Agreed. However, Mervis is also 26 and, while I'd still like to give him another 100 PAs before making a decision, 106 PAs of 32 wRC+ is really bad for a guy who only brings value via his bat. Even if he doesn't start getting hits, he needs to start making better contact for there to be any reasonable hope of him ever being more than a AAAA guy.
  12. If they stay at #9, this is my want list with people who have a remotely realistic chance of being there at 9 1) Nabers 2) Alt 3) Odunze 4) Turner 5) Latu 6) Fashanu Basically anyone else I'd be upset they didn't trade back.
  13. People are really running with Byron Murphy to the Bears at 9 and the first defensive player off the board.
  14. Through 24 games the White Sox are now on pace to go 20W 142L and be outscored by 554 runs. Last year the 50 win Oakland As were out scored by 339 runs.
  15. He made his decision
  16. The fact that they're 15-9 with Steele, Suzuki, Bellinger and Merryweather all currently injured is a minor miracle.
  17. Either someone via a trade or someone in the minors is going to have to come and save this pen because it is just not good.
  18. Between Taillon and Alzolay, a lot of getting people into 2 strike counts early then nibbling back into deep counts.
  19. Dear god Mervis, show something. I'd take hard contact at this point.
  20. I so badly want Mervis to be a thing, but he just doesn't put together good at bats. I'm about done with the experiment.
