  1. Other than getting great value, I love that this let's Seiya become your DH and gives you the option to move Nico in the offseason.
  2. That is a damn steal
  3. What a steal if it Morel+Bigge+ someone not in the top 5
  4. No Horton preferably no Shaw and I'm good
  5. Last year he put up an 115 wRC+ at A ball, at age 18, at a premium defensive position and projects to have an above average to plus hit tool and above average power. This year has been slightly disappointing and he'll probably repeat A+ unless he finishes hot.
  6. I wouldn't be shocked by this at all. Also, 55 hours left Jed, can we not wait until the last few hours before deciding to do something? Thanks.
  7. He was absolutely awful early on, but he's been tearing it up lately and look at this gem tonight
  8. I never said they weren't, but he drags things out both in trades and in FA.
  9. Showcasing Neris or just because he was already up?
  10. No, I'm watching other teams fill needs and take options off the board while Jed does his usual slow play schtick. Putting your back up against the wall of the deadline works against him just as much as it helps.
  11. "Patrick Wisdom might have just saved the season". Nope, it's dead, but that was fun anyway.
  12. I know they don't have much to sell off, but good god Jed are we really keeping this entire horsefeathers show together and just hoping for better results in '25?
  13. I mean, he's a slighty worse hitting, slightly worse defensive Seiya. Either Seiya needs to be replaced in RF by a guy who can not be a total liability out there or Seiya needs to stay in RF but the DH has to be a significant enough bat to make tolerating Seiya's defense more palatable.
  14. So after an admittedly brief review, it looks like the slider and curve are nails, but the fastball is ass. This actually makes me kind of hopeful, This is something I think is right up the Cub pitch lab's alley.
  15. I get it, it's not a huge exciting move, but there is upside in this move to become a backend of the bullpen arm for very little prospect cost. Getting a guy who could be a part of your 2025 roster for some prospect fodder is a good thing.
  16. Looks like Agustin Ramirez is the guy headlining the package. I actually quite liked him as an option if Taillon had ended up heading to New York.
  17. It's nothing major for sure, but this is the exact kind of guy who could become a Merryweather for us in 2025. The pen was already looking very exciting for 2025, if they can get Pearson ironed out, we could be talking one of the better pens around.
  18. For the love of god Tom, this is exactly why people give you horsefeathers.
  19. They're both fodder in my eyes. Rivera has been massively disappointing.
  20. Rivera was severely disappointing
  21. Yohendrick Pinango is the guy going back.
  22. I actually quite like this depending on the return. Pearson has very good stuff, he just gives up way too much hard contact.
  23. Formerly a high level prospect, his MLB career has been a dud. High strikeouts, fairly high BB%, Very high HR/FB%. Stuff is there if they can Merryweather him.
