The Packers have signed first round pick Clay Matthews leaving only BJ Raji unsigned. Raji is holding out to see what the market is for other top 10 picks. Everyone is too busy bitching about Hendry including Jackson in a deal that no one knows for fact that he has been included in. It's all very comical. I'm glad that Gregg is getting an inning of work though.

Really? Yeah, he started against the Orioles the other night. I think Rich Hill was on the mound for Baltimore in that one. There's a matchup I would have paid money to see.

1. It wasn't his fault. I don't know why ESPN, and fans can't understand this. 2. The only way I would watch is if they somehow tracked down Bartman himself for an interview. I would like to hear his side, see if he is still a Cub fan, and see if he has been able to move on with his life. I really feel bad for the way the guy was villanized and don't think it was fair.

How does one accomplish such a feat? It was a game against the Padres last may. I was blacked out by first pitch after drinking a fifth of Seagrams 7 on the Metra with one of my buddies. I remember Soriano hitting a lead off HR and thats about it. After the game I thought one of the large steel Chicago Public Works trash cans was trying to fight me, so I pushed it over. It landed on my foot and broke it in three places. -

Is the Favre love already returning for GB fans? Looking back at the situation Thompson did what was right for the organization. It was time to move on with a young core and young quarterback. I just wish that it didn't have to end as badly as it did. Once Thompson is gone, the Favre's and the organization will mend fences and everyone in Wisconsin will pretend like last summer never happened.

Let's win this one first. It's still early and we are the Cubs. I would assume the we are the cubs part means we are so much better than the other teams in this division we shouldn't sweat it? I wish it did. Oh, cause I just figured the way we've owned the division recently meant we should just relax. We were without our best player for two months and we are right at first place. I love our chances. Plus much like Ben Sheets last year, Chris Carpenters arm is due to fall off some point soon.

At first I was going to say that he's going to have a short day and get knocked out early, but then I forgot about how many innings the Astro bullpen has thrown the last two days. Who did they call up for Hawkins? And is he available today?

I really don't understand why the Cubs haven't called up a real catcher from Iowa. We are carrying 12 pitchers right now, so if Lou wants to go with 12 then why not send Hoffpauir down in order to get a catcher up here. Otherwise send down Shark.
