  1. I had that stat line in my facebook status yesterday. It's really crazy how good this guy is. I really hope either a.) he isn't on the list from 2003 and never took PEDs, or b.) he is smart enough to NEVER EVER get caught.
  2. Just killin the Golden Domers. I love it!!! :-))
  3. I'll take ARam. But I wouldn't be surprised if Danny Mac picked Beckham. He is a White Sox fan, no doubt about that. I would guess most if not everyone on this board would choose ARam, and most if not everyone on a White Sox board would choose Beckham.
  4. hahaha. No respect for the disabled.
  5. Seriously, why not charge the mound if you are that pissed about it? What would be a greater suspension/fine for Fielder: charging the mound and the benches clearing, with maybe 2 total punches thrown... OR... storming into the opposing team's clubhouse and trying to fight him there? Like someone said, the odds he even gets to him in the clubhouse is slim to none. In summary, the Brewers are a joke.
  6. Or a mentally healthy Rich Hill. My thoughts exactly.
  7. Denver Art Museum. DO IT!
  8. If and when he gets back in the league, Neal Musser. He was my junior high basketball coach and played ball at the same high school I attended. I would give him some financial incentive to give me a meatball. Any going with the "man-up" theory is pretty stupid. a.) there is a million dollars on the line b.) you aren't going to hit Verlander or Lincecum or probably 99.875% of pitchers c.) there is a million dollars on the line
  9. haha. I need to go watch him pitch I guess.
  10. I don't do the whole "Cobs" thing. You should try it sometime. However, I prefer Super Mega Awful cObs!!!
  11. :old_givebeer: :fright:   I just want to cry.
  12. It will still be illegal. It is classified at as Schedule I drug (the strictest classification) under the Controlled Substances Act, and will always be federally illegal until that is changed, regardless of what states do. You need to put an asterisk next to your statement. It's only illegal as long as you don't have a card in your wallet that says you can legally buy it and smoke it. And I've heard it is super easy to get a card if you really want one. I don't know what Schedule I means, but it shouldn't be too hard to change it if it classifies marijuana with drugs like heroin, PCP, Crystal and other life threatening drugs. I'm still waiting to read the first obituary that reads "man dies from marijuana overdose". The federal government still considers it illegal no matter what California or any other state does. Do a quick google search and you will see lots of "shops" in California that are selling pot legally by state standards that are being busted by the FDA, a federal agency. Even find a Drew Carey video of him supporting legalization and such. Marijuana has been Schedule 1 for quite some time, and it's hard to change because of, in part, the videos the government put out about pot before my time. The main reason Obama and others in the government are considering legalization, or at least decriminalization, is because we are $982 TRABAZILLION in debt and need a way to increase tax revenue substantially. Legalizing weed is one very efficient way of doing that. You won't read an obituary for someone dying of a pot overdose because, IIRC, you have to smoke your body weight in in given time frame to OD. Which, isn't physically possible.
  13. I wasn't suggesting it based on any recent start, or any group of starts for that matter. I have always been of the belief that Rich Harden = Mr. Glass. The less he pitches the more likely he is to stay healthy and be there in (I'm going to say it...) October.
  14. lol. Isolated incident my arse.
  15. Boo for the office having blocked MLB.TV!!!!
  16. I would definitely do whatever possible to give him more than 4 days rest before starts, or be prepared to piggyback he and Marshall, or eventually put him in the bullpen to pitch 1-2 innings 2-3 times per week. If I were Lou, and I clearly am not, I would alternate starts with he and Marshall. I am not sure what that would do to Marshall's ability to come out of the pen on weeks that Harden was starting though. If they alternated, presumably they could relieve 3-4 days before and after their start. It could look something like this: Monday- Harden start, Marshall available in pen Tuesday - Harden unavailable, Marshal available in pen Wednesday - Harden unavailable, Marshall available in pen Thursday - Both unavailable Friday - Harden potentially available in pen, Marshall unavailable Saturday - Marshall starts, Harden available in pen Sunday - Harden available, Marshall unavailable Monday - Harden available, Marshall unavailable Tuesday - Both unavailable Wednesday - Marshall potentially available, Harden unavailable Thursday - Harden starts, Marshall available That's assuming no off days of course. I like how that looks, but if it was feasible in terms of the number of pitchers, I would avoid using Harden out of the pen at all costs. I am thinking give him the 9 days rest every time. Get that arm/body feeling real good.
