I'm not following the purpose of your sarcasm. I'm not SSR, but I'd say that you have no basis for saying they didn't use. One of the side effects of steroids are consistent with the sorts of injuries Griffey has had. Maddux, though I have nothing for. The moral of the story is that Sammy's never even been remotely implicated. There's as much evidence against him as there are against Jr. and Maddux. The corked bat is a non-secuitor I guess I have no evidence they didn't use. My problem was "I think it's pretty clear they're 2 of the worst offenders".

    So I'm not 100% sure of the timing of everything, but if I was betting I would say Sammy COULD be one of the 103 or so people that are on the list ARod was on. If this is the case (if and when the names come out), I doubt he gets into the HoF, at least not any time in the near future. I am of the belief that EVERYONE that has the numbers in this era should be voted in. That includes Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Griffey, Clemens, Maddux, etc. Whether they used or not, evidence or none. It definitely sucks for the people who didn't use (Griffey and Maddux) but we really don't even know that for 100%. Anyone and everyone could be on something that helped their performance. We will probably never know...

    I love games on MLBN. Brighthouse Indy doesn't even offer CSN in a package that I saw, so I have to hope for WGN, ESPN, or MLBN every single day. Cubs tend to do the opposite of what I say, so.... Cubs lose 9-3 Z gets lit up for 7 runs in 4+ IP Hill hits a 2 run HR Soto gains 3 lbs

    Personally, I hope so. Watching him play for the Indianapolis is a pretty enjoyable time. I would really like to see him be successful at the major league level, just not against the Cubs.

    DeRosa isn't an everyday RF'er. He would certainly be more 'everyday' than Bradley, who is injured every other day.

    Instead of signing Bradley to a nasty contract, we could have just put DeRo out in right all season and been just fine. It certainly wouldn't get us "more left-handed", but a ton of cash would have been saved to spend on someone other than Gregg to close.

    ...with 3 nd's which iirc easily could have been wins if not for the bullpen and their kerosene tanks and matches or the bats not showing up. wells has pitched really well in 3 games and left either tied 0-0 or with a lead. :lol: I am 100% sure he was being sarcastic. 100%. Of EVERYTHING I have ever heard that kid say, I have actually believed about .000001% of it.

    You're surprised? I'd have been surprised if Francouer didn't homer there. I guess I'm trying to be a little more optimistic than that... I've tried. But getting kicked in the nuts for 6 months per year for the last 20+ years tends to kill any optimism. I like the Cubs just as much as the next guy (see tattoo on right leg) but EXPECTING opposing players to hit home runs isn't really appealing to me.
