The Astros rebuild started around the same time as the Cubs, won a WS a year after the Cubs, another last year, plus two more appearances. Now they are about to play in their 7th straight ALCS. Meanwhile the Cubs flamed out in 2018.

The previous format was perfect. Win your division and you don't have to worry about a 1 and done elimination game. Now, win your division but finish 3rd best division champ record and play with the rest of the riff raff in a best of 3. the 3rd wild card is what is stupid, I guess MLB could have made the WC with only 2 WCs a best of 3. Game 1 on Tuesday with a possible DH on Wednesday, 2nd game of doubleheader is only played if necessary.

They should shorten the regular season but never will. Also too many damn off days benefits these teams that had to play in the WC round. I get they only wanted to have two games on NFL Sunday but they should have started the LDS on Friday not Saturday

It is too early to give a verdict on Young but it does not look good. Thanks for DJ Moore and your probable top 5 pick in 2024 It is nice to be on the right side of a fleece for a change.

If the Bears finish with 6 or 7 wins, Fields throws for 4K, 32 TDs 14 INT and Carolina nets us the 1st overall pick do you still draft Williams and thus reset the rookie QB deal? Or do you trade that pick for an absolute haul and continue on with Fields? They were talking about this on the Score yesterday and it seems like the consensus was still drafting Williams.
