Yeah I don't know why they keep pushing this narrative with Williams not wanting to come to Chicago. Although Cowherd is the first semi legit source to make that comment. Today he is walking it back.

I am hoping for Williams to see the meathead fandom have a meltdown, especially after he is dealt for a 4th round pick and a conditional 2025 pick. I was in Vegas over the weekend wearing a Bears shirt and ran into 10 different Bears fans. 9 of them wanted to roll it back with Fields including one who wanted to fight me because I said they needed to move on from Fields.

You left the part out where Goff had plenty of time on the play clock on the previous plays where he could have killed the clock. It probably just was a gentleman agreement between Campbell and Bowles. "You don't call timeout, we won't wait til 1 second on each play killing the clock" If the Lions wanted to, with TB only having one timeout they would have let the clock go to 1 and ended the game. This "uproar" was not a real thing.

You absolutely have to draft a QB at #1. Willams may bust, but his ceiling is a future HOF too. Roll the dice. We pretty much know what Fields ceiling is and its not a HOF QB.

I would say their defense being near elite has helped them to 11-6. If they had their 2020 defense they might be 8-9

Sounds about right. Also, isnt today the deadline for Caleb to declare for the draft? I know the Bears are QB hell but this is probably one of the best situations to be drafted #1 in. The roster isn't complete non talent.
