    Maybe in a cost cutting move PTR sent Ohtani to Toronto for the physical due to the free healthcare. If he came here PTR would have to pay for it. Did anyone check if any of the Chicago area Golden Corral's are closed for the evening meet and greet?

    Blame PTR, the Cubs budget is that of a small market team. Counsell was hired, not because they planned on spending, but because he is a master of getting the best out of the least.

    Also PTR cut his daily food allowance I am sure to like $5 per day so his meals consists of bear claws and doritos.

    Just my opinion, but I think it was, yet another dog and pony show by the Cubs, and they never were serious to begin with.
