Ok Cubs. I'm going to be at this game with really good seats so I hope to post some pictures in the game thread. Cubs win this 7-1 scoring all seven runs in the first three innings as Peavy gets an early shower and sees his already bloated ERA rise even more. Go Cubs!! :clapping: :flythew: :clapping: :flythew:

I'll be there Friday night to watch Arrieta pitch. Second row seats right between Cubs dugout and bullpen. Can't wait. :D

Apparently the Dodgers have somewhere else to be in about half an hour... Hendricks only throws 14 pitches in 3 full innings.

Trying to decide if I like this jersey or not

Is there an authentic cool base jersey vs replica? I got a Rizzo one for Christmas and it has the cubbie bear patch on the sleeve, which the one in the link doesn't. My tags say authentic, but not sure if that's the same for all of them. Regardless, I like the jersey quite a bit. The patches seem very solid and the lettering on the back does as well. I have an XL, which might be a little long, but needed something that would definitely fit the extra roundness in my middle. Lol. -

Due to work tomorrow my alcohol consumption will be light tonight... unless things get ugly. However, if the Cubs win, I will be enjoying the Friday game in full Cubs gear from the bar of the Firestone Brewery in Paso Robles so there will be much consuming of very fine beer as the Cubs dong Mr. Lackey into oblivion.
