  1. The Jags select: Eric Weddle S Utah With Deon Grant leaving and Darius missing large parts of the last 2 years, we need help at the saftey spot.
  2. I've come to expect Opening Day losses. And I wasn't being force fed the Cub loss on every sports channel around either. Everywhere I turn it's how wonderful Florida is. Screw the Gators. =D> Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but Tenn was the only team in the tourney I did not want to see the Gators play.
  3. with tebow running that offense full time? i don't think so. Tim Tebow's high school passing stats: Year ATT COMP PCT YDS TD INT Soph. 151 233 64.8 2194 18 8 Jun. 247 402 61.4 4304 46 6 Sen. 214 338 63.3 3324 31 4 The guy can do a lot more than just run the ball. I'm much more worried about the defense than the offense for the Gators. Tebow will be good with the spread offense, but our defense will be almost all freshman and sophmores.
  4. as a cubs fan i've known that the world isn't fair for a long time. but this latest development in major college sports is cartoonishly ridculous. QFT. Can FloridaCubbie just spread the aura of one of Florida's championships to the Cubs? I'd still trade all three for one WS title for the Cubbies. That being said, this is awesome.
  5. With the 17th pick in the draft the jacksonville Jaguars select: JON BEASON I'll explain more later, but Basically we need starting talent at 2 spots, FS and LB. I think there is enough depth at saftey to take one in round two rather than reaching for Griffin here.
  6. It's a great time to be a student (over 21) at the University of Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/dunkenness]
  7. BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Bengals are listed twice -- once in place of the Jags (AFC South). I'll take the Jags.
  10. Oregon = GATOR BAIT!
  11. I understadnd that I'm not providing a whole lot a UF support here, but at least i'm having a lot a miller and yeingling with those who arte, See you in the E8 AND GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!!!! (AND GO CAUBBIES!!!!!!!) [/end drunken fan post.]
  12. GO GATORS!!!!!!
  13. Am I the only one rooting for the Gators here?
  14. hah, "we've got an enthusiastic guy here some place"
  15. Yea, the Gators have been playing horribly the past few weeks, hopefully they can snap out of it by tourny time.
  16. Florida played like crap today and loses to LSU. Bleh.
  17. As long as it's against UF again, no.
  18. Yeah, I heard about that, but I don't know who did it. From what I can tell, it was a really bad situation. Some Vanderbilt student shoved Corey Brewer from behind. Good of Brewer to not retaliate. I didn't see the game so I don't know what happened. However, the local sports coverage had been talking about a lot of trash talking taking place between the two teams. In fact, the media seemed to be fueling it with a bunch of interviews with players on both teams talking trash. I believe Vandy is unbeaten in their building against #1 ranked teams. Joakim Noah and Vandy's coach were ready to throw down earlier - it was a very strange situation. Vandy is 6-6 against #1 all time. all i saw was the coach not giving him the ball. was there more to it than that? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks6LKwhkZNQ that noah guy seems like a real ass. It's not really clear on that video but this is how it happened: Noah reaches for the ball so he can inbound it, the coach slapped his hands away and refuses him the ball, Noah looks at the refs with the WTF look then he slaps the ball away. He probably shouldn't have slapped the ball away, but I don't know why the coach was holding on the the ball and refusing to give it to him. In general I think Noah gets way over-hyped, both as a player and as an ass, due the his overly emotional play. He's an easy target.
  19. head down. eye on the ball. kid's got skills. 8-) Left handed too. Sign him up.
  20. Just grabbed Jerimy Finch, the #1 saftey in the land, according to Rivals. We already had Major Wright, the #2 safety.
