    Charter sucks. They are my local cable company, and when I decided I wanted Extra Innings they didn't offer it in my market even though they did in others (that was back in 2003). That's the reason I switched to DirecTV in the first place. Charter also didn't offer any of the local digital channels like Time Warner did.

    You're right about that. Since Yahoo does use Pacific time, you added the player at 9:30 P.M. Thursday, so the player is available on your roster for Friday games. If you add the player after midnight Pacific time on Friday, he isn't available until Saturday (on the flip side, you'd still have the player you dropped available for Friday's games).

    I definitely like the way Lilly started his career as a Cub. Hopefully that will continue.

    Overall, it would probably be one I just made this week in another league (an autodraft league). Somehow I wound up with both Mauer and McCann, so I traded Mauer for Webb. Trading for the defending NL Cy Young winner and still having a top fantasy catcher is hard to beat. In this league, it may turn out to be trading a 3rd round draft pick for Liriano, although that won't be known until next year. I also like a couple of recent trades with Raw, trading Humber for Marte and trading Tejada and Hamels for Webb, Wells, and Tracy.

    I have Dotel on my team in a Yahoo autodraft league. My other relievers in that league are Chris Ray and Mike Gonzalez. And that is a weekly change league, so I can't even move Dotel to the DL and replace him until next week.

    I don't think the matchup is updated until the next day (after midnight Pacific time). StatTracker, however, updates immediately. It's free until April 15, then $9.99 for the rest of the year after that.

    Potentially we have a direct pitching matchup later this week, as Webb is scheduled to go against Patterson. I don't know if Arizona's rainout today will change that. I have a sizeable lead on you now, but I've also used five of myseven pitching starts for the week. EDIT: I don't know why I thought Arizona was rained out; I was confusing that with Tampa Bay vs. Yankees.

    That's why wins don't affect your score. I'd forgotten that was one of the changes when the GameCenter showed wins as one of the stats.

    Over 100 points for me today, pending overnight pitching scoring. El Duque, Jennings, and Washburn combine for 19 IP, 4 ER, and probably 2 wins (Seattle is up 8-4 in the top of the 9th). EDIT: I assumed Washburn would get the win, but Oakland tied the game after he left before Seattle rallied to win, so he won't. :(

    I'm still holding out minimal hope for Hagerty, especially if his struggles the last couple of years were mental rather than physical. I hadn't heard that before.

    You're basically right. Each category is treated as a separate game. So if you win 6 categories, your opponent wins three, and you tie in 1, you have a record of 6-3-1 in the standings.
