All of the new registrations that are shown have not been activated. There haven't actually been any new activations since well before this tournament was first mentioned. A large number of the registrations are from bots, and distinguishing between the legitimate registrations and the bots takes time, which is one of the reasons registrations have been taking time to activate recently. he regular interface shows the newest registration; the Premium interface shows the newest activation. -

Or they can continue talking about it if they wish. You don't know for a fact that it won't happen, and it isn't for you to tell others what they can and cannot talk about. -

It is the official scorer's discretion because nobody qualifies for the win based on normal rules. The starter doesn't earn the win because he failed to go five innings and none of the relievers automatically qualify for the win because none of them were in the game when the team took the lead. -

Thanks to the crappy umpiring the Cubs' bullpen is now shot for the next few days. Way to go, jerks. Something has to be done to stop this crap, and I mean IMMEDIATELY.

They may both pitch tonight, since their teams are leading close games at the moment. Moyer really sucked today. I thought I had the match won, but it's gotten too close for comfort. I hate having my win depend on Braves doing well against the Cubs. :( I now lead by over 15 thanks to Wickman. You REALLY need another stinker from Cordero now.

I remember it very well, especially when I was a pup. I wonder one of the reasons why they did that so much was that Harry was very popular. I mean, in my opinion, ever since Harry passed, WGN just stopped doing it, or so it seems. Really, broadcasting the Cubs games, WGN's ratings can't be any worse than Buffy, America Funniest Home Videos, etc etc. can it? I don't think it had anything to do with Harry, because they were doing it long before he arrived. I'm not sure of the details, but I think I've read that MLB now has limits on how many games a superstation can carry. The Braves are in the same situation; most of their games used to be televised on TBS, but not nearly as many are any more. I think that's a stupid rule that MLB have to limit how many games a superstation can carry. Agreed, but since when did MLB ever give a damn what fans think?

Cordero had his first stinker of the year (-11.25 points after giving up 4 runs in 2/3 inning). Fortunately I think I have enough of a cushion to be able to absorb it.

Not true; it was in existence before the new basic agreement. It hasn't been around that long, though, so maybe it was in the previous agreement. And it isn't just due to death; it can be due to illness as well, which is the case with Floyd. Len also just said a player may only be on the list for 7 games. Could well be. I may have been thinking of 10 by mistake because that's the number of days a team has after DFAing a player.

An embarrassment. :x It looks like South Carolina may tie the series. They were ahead by 3 runs in the 7th when the game was suspended due to lightning. It will be completed tomorrow afternoon, with game 3 tomorrow night if necessary.

North beat South in the battle of the Carolinas, 9-6. South took a 6-0 lead, but North came back with 3 in the 6th and 6 in the 7th. All 9 of North's runs came with 2 out.
