Generally the first set of channels is the visiting team telecast and the second set is the home team. So, for example, if a Cubs at Marlins game is televises on 725, 725-1, 726, and 726-1, the 725s are the Cubs telecast and the 726s are the Marlins.

    I can see waiting until after the games are over, but if there's definite proof the IOC really HAS to strip the Chinese of their medal. Rules are rules, and they have to be enforced consistently rather than selectively. Too bad if it reflects poorly on the Chinese; it should since they're the cheats.

    Only after the coaches had to promise that none of the gymnasts would get hurt during their training. They actually had to make that promise in writing by signing a contract. Nothing like signing a contract promising something that is totally impossible to guarantee.

    Not if you spelled her name correctly she isn't. Mrs. Howell's first name (actually nickname) is spelled Lovey. You spelled it the way the Bears' head coach spells his first name.

    Until last year the Series started on Saturday. Last year it was changed to Wednesday. I believe the reason was so there would only be one weekend, when ratings are lower. Prior to last year a 7-game Series would have included two Saturdays and two Sundays; now it would only include one of each.

    Hamilton and Lahey have absolutely nothing to do with each other. They were a year apart.

    My opinion is that a lifetime ban from participating in baseball should be separated from eligibility for the Hall. A lifetime ban relates to the present and future; being elected to the Hall relates to the past. Let the voters decide whether somebody deserves to be in the Hall despite their sins.

    Yes he was. Piniella wanted to become Tampa Bay's manager while he was still under contract with Seattle, so Tampa Bay sent Winn to Seattle as compensation for letting Lou out of his contract.

    Purely speculating, but I can't imagine them NOT showing it again.

    Douglass was Michael Vick before Michael Vick ws (in the sense of being a running quarterback, not in the dog-fighting sense :D ). If I remember correctly he tried to become a pitcher in the White Sox organization after his football career fizzled.

    Playing devil's advocate here, what if the Rays get to/or win the World Series? Does this award count the postseason? Shapiro won it over Kenny Williams in 2005. If it's like other awards, no. Most awards are voted on before the postseason even they aren't announced until after.
