  1. I will say I dont remember people actually throwing their glasses that are full of beer at a guy like Victorino but what ever. hell, I've seen it done in the Metrodome by Twin fans
  2. Someone in the crowd at Wrigley dumping a beer on a player or throwing something at them as that player is about to make or is making a play? Please list some of the "many, many" times this has happened. No list, but the beer dump is nothing new. yeah, mojo, it's not like we keep dates and times. i've been watching the cubs a long time and i've seen it happen a lot. oh hell, I'm pretty sure I've done it to some Cincy player. I tired, anyway, along with about 5 other people. dont know if my beer actually made contact
  3. Agreed it is the worst move in since brock. Letting Greg Maddux walk in his prime was peanuts compared to the awesome power of a 35 year old middle infielder in the final year of his deal who was coming off a career year. seriously? this has to be a joke
  4. god I hope I can get Bear games in the Pacific NW. this could be a fun season
  5. ok..but OMC, you make it seem like he should have been sleeping with a m-1
  6. I really dont get this. of all the things my neighbor has said about him, none of it had to do with any war.
  7. I cant ask my neighbor that, its more then I would feel comfortable. I am going to ask my neighbor over for beer and baseball more tho!!!
  8. Every now and then I see my next door neighbor with a Cubs hat on. I've always wanted to ask him if he was a fan or just wore it 'cuz the Cubs are so cool. Today, I happened to catch him with it on so I made a point to ask him. His response was: "Yea, well, my uncle played for them." -His uncle was ANDY PAFKO. I nearly collapsed. My neighbor told me he has a signed picture of Andy at the wall completely dejected as the "Shot Heard Around the World" lands into the crowd beyond him. He also gave me a Cubs laptop bag he got from Andy as a souvenir. I am completely floored right now....
  9. I bet you do boB, I bet you do.
  10. My wife is a big Lovie fan, and when she saw the photo the other day she was disappointed in the caliber, so to speak. I had to explain to her that Lovie was a nobody when he was single. she looks as if she has had a face lift
  11. I'm not saying it was a bad hire, or his fault, its just a huge black eye whether or not he is our head coach.
  12. He was considered one of the best D-line coaches in the game before he was hired by the Lions. so what. 0-16.
  13. how you doing RMBL? lol
  14. That's great and all, but we're still talking about 1st round pick superstars vs what the Bears have. Which is an undrafted free agent late bloomer who had a nice career, some middle round picks who are decent complementary players but not stars, and one star who hasn't been the same since a devestating injury a few years ago. Marinelli isn't working with Sapp and Rice. He's working with the Bears linemen. I don't know that anyone is arguing he'll get Sapp/Rice type performances out of any of the linemen (though I guess there's a possibility with Harris), but a great position coach is likely to get better performances out of his players than others would. Part of it is better technique, some of it is better training regimen and some of it is noticing weaknesses in a player's game that others haven't. All the evidence points to Marinelli being better at all of that than most defensive line coaches. I really think the only reason Marinelli is being hyped is simply because we hired a head coach of a 0-16 NFL team
  15. well..."Randy Moss butt licker" works as well. done.
  16. Cutler has a better statistical season, your new screen name will be "Randy Moss ass licker" Farve, my screen name will be "Charles Martin is my Hero" caveats: Favre has to play for the Vikings username change for 1 month. deal?
  17. as old as Farve is, that is an impossible stance to take excuse me, "nearly" impossible
  18. Since Cutler has become a starter.. Cutler - 45 turnovers in 1220 pass attempts Favre - 47 turnovers in 1257 pass attempts And this is with a so called "injury prone, to old decling Favre". lets see, a young, budding, rising QB versus an old, washed up decling QB nice spin...
