  1. why? because the Colts lead in almost every statisitical catagory not named "Hurricane" ....and obvioulsy, I mean the drink Yeah, that'd work if it were true. Statistical categories in which the Saints beat the Colts: Strength of Schedule Offensive Yards Per Game Time of Possession Total Touchdowns Points Per Game Margin of Victory Total Points Rushing Touchdowns Rushing Yards Kicking Return Yardage Punt Return Yardage Interceptions Sacks Forced Fumbles Passes Defended Defensive Touchdowns backed. into. Super Bowl.
  2. I think the whole "Cutler will clash with MArtz" thing is nonsense. Cutler wanted out of denver, true, but if you just made the Pro-Bowl, and a new coach comes to town and tries to trade you behind your back and then denies it, what would be your response? add to it I dont think Culter and Ron Turner ever publically clashed, and most of Cutler's frustration likely came out of dealing with a very weak QB coach, I'd say Cutler has been rather restrained. I'd destroy several Gatorade tubs if I had to work Turner on a daily basis.
  3. I know he's not the sexy choice, but he is a very good OC, and one we could build off of for a while. I just hope he ins't thrust into HC after next year.
  4. could it be your Spidy Sense?

  6. well, because they are.
  7. the Browns have a much better chance of beating the Colts then NO does
  8. you all realize that I have never been and never will be a Vikings fan, right? objectively look at this, a team that has the fortune that NO has had in the playoffs to get to the SB doesn't exactly represent the best a Conference has to offer. Its the old saying, its better to be lucky then good.
  9. they backed into it. they played an Arizona team from the worse division in the NFL then played a Minnesota team that did everything to loose. Good luck with Manning! Archie must be loving this
  10. the Saints cant take credit for Adrian Peterson, and allowed illegal hits will cause any QB to become a bit erratic
  11. Don't blame them for the fates of Brett Favre. a 5:1 turnover ratio doesn't scream confidence to me when you still need OT at home to win, Favre or no Favre. the Saints wont get that against a good team.
  12. NO had the good fortune of playing a team that decided to sh*t their pants insted of showing up, at home, and they STILL needed OT to win.
  13. what are you kiding me? 2 ints (one caused by an illegal hit and should have been called back and given MN the ball on the 19), 6 fumbles (3 of which were lost)??? had NO played a real team and not the bumbling idiots they did, no way they are in it.
  14. I could give a rat about Allen or Farve, but I believe the Saints backed their way into the SB. I dont think thats even debatable.
  15. If it's going to be Rogers then I would assume there is a deadline to get things done well before the Super Bowl. if they're really desperate enough to hire some guy off the street like rogers, al saunders is available. Mike Martz plz
  16. so, the Saints and their cheap shots made it to the SB: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4868880 and now they want to do it again: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4869687 go Colts
  17. holy [expletive] this really sucks
  18. this, soul. Tice was good when he had talent, so/so when he didn't. he basically plays the music given to him.
  19. I'm sorry, how does this do anything except back up my point? You're willing to give him a pass on the issue of steroids prior to 2000 despite all of his credentials? What, was he just missing it everytime it was discussed or guys wer leaving the evidence sitting around their lockers or clubhouses? Was he just incompetent? Were PED's only being handled and used by a secret cabal of sports masterminds who kept it skillfully hidden from everyone else? I really don't see how listing the guy's credentials does anything to defend why he either completely missed the PED story for decades or willfully chose to ignore it or not pursue it. It's one of those three options. Which is it? Maybe we can give him a medal for whichever one it was since he did it so "well" for so long despite this being a gigantic open secret for decades. He's a sports columnist not a detective. Attacking Telander is really making you look silly. And Nuts & Gum superior credential are? credentials? what is this, checkpoint charlie? Telander is clearly out there stoking his ego. the entire damn column is sensationalism. really Telander? wow, thats profound.
  20. Tice was so/so as OL coach. I dont see this as a HUGE upgrade over anyone, really.
  21. I hope to god they are only considering him for OL coach
  22. Man...that D-line is so fun to watch. They push the line 5 yards back almost immediately. yea, but both offenses look like college offenses
  23. .............although.............sorry vance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vwWOXSdZig
  24. god I wish we could win the SB to get 1/2 of those a-holes outta Chicago's spotlight. I guess that why Virginia likes Lovie so much. He's come the closest. of course, I would be more happy if someone bought Virginia out of power.
  25. I don't mind Martz, and I mind him less if Bates goes to Seattle.
