  9. I'm being a dick, I know. But it isnt Cutler's job or responsibility to call out the blocking schemes. thats the o-line, and the backs and TE's cooperate with them, or they should. those blitzes arent on Cutler, especially when he doesnt see them coming or when the WR doesnt make the correct route adjustment.
  10. I totally agree. I mean, Cutler should snap the ball to himself, take his 7 step back-step, pick up the blitz with a solid block, chip the DE coming on the inside stunt, read the secondary, make the correct route adjustment and get proper body position on the DB, make the throw to the correct spot, catch the ball, and out run of the secondary for a 72 yrd pitch-and-catch. Its really that easy. no, but not seeing lawyer freaking milloy of all people hiding behind the DE and assigning a running back or tight end to cover him up makes you wonder about his ability to adjust to defenses. it isnt clear to me that he ever saw them. they showed several replays where a tackle or guard ends up with no one to block while the opposite tackle chases after the DE as he stunts towards the inside. Thus, the blindside DB kills Cutler. The oline needs to communicate and create better protection packages. besides, after about the 2nd game of 6 or so sacks, dont you think he would start noticing the blitz packages? its his own ass to save. I'll agree that this offense requires (or asks) Cutler to hang onto the ball too long especially with this line, but cant believe he isnt doing everything he can to not get sacked. its not like anyone else on this team is going to get hammered by the DB, its HIM.
  11. here I was going to offer Orlando Pace haha
