  5. shhhhh! Kyle is really all about bemoaning light rail. Keeping up with the Cubs is difficult for him.
  6. call it what you want, its the same intent
  7. I cant believe a 7 am news conference in Boston will be the first time we hear anything.
  8. Theo's staying UNLESS the Cubs announce differently tonight. No way Boston announces Theo leaving first.
  9. breaker breaker good buddy
  10. Levine is a dingbat this announcement tomorrow sounds better by the minute
  11. Well that settles that then. Better lock up Carlos Pena. He said that while Chicago is a great place to play, these guys want to win and are not going to want to wait around for any type of rebuilding process that could takes years. their loss then.
  12. huh? the guy is under 40 and is the GM of a MLB team-he didnt get there by backing his way in. He isn't weighing opportunity against social ties, he's weighing opportunity vs opportunity. Boston is either negotiating a trade with Ricketts or offered him something of a relative equal position. There's more to it than x vs y, or Beane would be sitting in the Boston GM Chair instead of Theo. Boston doesn't really have an equivalent position to offer. Beane has ownership = more then Boston could offer.
