How about a trade for Buxton?
  5. minnesotacubsfan
How likely is it that this trade could propitiate a call up for Davis?

that part is surprising at first, but makes a ton of sense. thanks, I really thought it was the opposite; ie the City wanted to keep it grass
  7. minnesotacubsfan

this is a very good strategy for maintaining and aiding SF for sure, but the Bears still dont have ownership in the stadium, and that could be their larger sticking point. I'd love to see this work out for the Bears and SF, coupled by better revenue for the Bears and more seating capacity in SF, probably a major modernization/remodel to SF. And field turf, no more Chicago Parks death grip.

It also might be Halon, it's a gas that sucks oxygen out of the air thereby snuffing our fires. It will also Suko are you if you don't have a tank of oxygen nearby

In sports you constantly have eras ending without people really realizing it until they look back later with the benefit of hindsight and notice that this, here, is where it ended. This series is the complete opposite of that. This was the end and just about everyone knows it. eh,,trading Darvish was that moment. this whole season leading up to this series was just the gas being let out of the bloated whale

I wonder what our bullpen is worth on the trade market

wow, Aldrich left the Hawks and continued to be predatory. this is a horsefeathering terrible look for the team: "Vincent told TSN this month that he informed then-president John McDonough, general manager Stan Bowman, executive Al MacIsaac and skills coach James Gary about Aldrich’s alleged assault at a meeting in 2010, but that the group of Hawks executives rejected his request to report the incident to the police."
