    wow, Aldrich left the Hawks and continued to be predatory. this is a horsefeathering terrible look for the team: "Vincent told TSN this month that he informed then-president John McDonough, general manager Stan Bowman, executive Al MacIsaac and skills coach James Gary about Aldrich’s alleged assault at a meeting in 2010, but that the group of Hawks executives rejected his request to report the incident to the police."

    Pujols in particular looked way overmatched. Second to last pitch to Smith, Kimbrel just stared at the bench after he let go of it. He knew Smith had 0 chance.

    He’s two weeks into one of the hottest stretches in baseball history and as of this exact moment his OPS is 1 point higher than his season numbers in 2019. He did plenty of proving here. Sure his success may not last, but imagine him on the Cubs right now.

    its the all star game lol its not like it's gonna be hard to tell who is who yea, I realize that is the case for the majority of the players. but for some players who I haven't seen play, especially from the east coast teams or say, Kansas City, I would have no idea who they were. besides its the All Star game, why not have the teams logo and the players name predominant?

    I dont mind the floral sleeve or the soccer appearance, but I hate the hidden city name and the greyed out logo. white is good for home, but I think the away jerseys should be a light charcoal and the teams logo more prominent, like this: https://imgur.com/8MFgaOR

    That would be a good and fun idea. But my favorite idea is just starting the season with Fields. I'm thinking it would be awesome to maybe package an entire offense around Fields. That would allow the Bears some flexibility to make a special package of plays for Dalton. Like, say, the holder on extra point attempts. why, so you can get your franchise QB hurt while not playing QB? just start him

    Do you still tell people you're FROM there? Or is that more of a response to where you're born? I waited until I spent more than half my life (and had kids born) here before I’d say I’m from New Jersey. But that was only in a vacation or similar situation. Yea, I guess I didn't understand exactly what Wrigley was asking, but puget sound in general has had such a huge influx of people not born and raised here that most people assume you weren't either. It's a rare day meeting someone who is from the area

    living on the west coast for 12 years, I learned awhile ago that it is FAR easier to tell people I am from "northern Illinois", but when the reply is "Chicago??" I say yes. the reason is it takes too much time and far too irrelevant to anything in my life to go into a long description of where I actually grew up. I never have lived in the Chicago metro area. Seattle area, San Francisco area, LA/San Fernando valley, Minneapolis and Madison I have all called home, but never Chicago. So, how infuriated would you all feel about that? Do you still tell people you're FROM there? Or is that more of a response to where you're born? "from, more or less". if they ask what neighborhood, I get into where I really am from. its too much meaningless talk, honestly, and only those from Chicago really press the question. everyone else just thinks Illinois is Chicago, and they have some vague understanding of corn fields.

    Wrigley Field, in its current form, looks great from the outside. What? I dont hate it, but I also don't feel it's a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination. It's almost disappointing, save the Marquee

    And that small minority of people are wrong. People should work harder in school. The "Chicago" in that middle pic incorporates some of the most rural places in the state. I'm referring more to the "Central Illinois" part. I can't put Champaign in the same categories as Carbondale, for example. And Champaign isn't northern Illinois either. But it's an abstract graphic, you can nitpick any of the borders

    The middle pic is how most people outside of the metro view Illinois. I grew up in the red part, for instance. The only thing I dislike about the Bears being in a 'burb is I will always think of them playing their games along the lakeshore. It sucks that there is no simple solution to stadium capacity or ingress/egress to the stadium. And I can't in good conscious advocate for a new freeway tail disrupting more of that neighborhood, which is what it would take.
