  1. It would be a shame. He's one of the guys who could if everything went right get to 300 wins. Still unlikely as it is for anyone 1/3 of the way there but he is still just 28.
  2. I would like to keep going.
  3. Oh and as far as Pippen goes I think he was a very good player who Jordan made great. Because of Jordan, Pippen was able to get 1-on-1's and open shots. He could also rest from time to time on offense when Jordan was on and concentrate on playing great defense. Pippen to me is similar to an Artest today. A guy who plays very good defense throughout his career and on offense can score but not dominate consistently.
  4. I've said this before to friends and I will say it again. The year Jordan came back and Houston won, his averages were equal to what he was doing before and after that year in the playoffs. Considering the Bulls lost to Orlando in 6 and the Rockets swept Orlando its ridiculous to just not count that championship. I'll give you the first championship since the Rockets didn't dominate that playoffs but the second one when Jordan was back, although perhaps not a full 100% gelled Bulls team, the Rockets dominated and Hakeem and all the others should get their due credit for it. Also Isiah did win three championships before the Bulls took over. The reason he was never heard from again once Jordan got over the top was because he was a small, undersized, quick guard who got old and slowed down (a lot like Iverson has).
  5. We were also programed to smash each other with rocks. Hopefully we've evolved a bit. If Brendan Frazier can evolve when Pauly Shore is the one helping him I'm pretty sure anyone can.
  6. Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck, Charles Manson, Scott Peterson, and a whole host of crazy, psycho killers and the like agree with you. Yeah cause a majority of people don't think cheating is a horrible thing to do. Are you people really getting on me for saying cheating is an awful thing to do? Really? I guess all of you just want to argue with anything I post even when you agree with it. Whatever gets you off I guess. I don't think I normally argue with you. However, in this case, I happen to believe cheating on your wife/husband isn't even on the top 500 list. The list of things I could come up with that are worse than cheating on someone would probably take me days, maybe weeks to complete, and the list would be rather lengthy. And probably a bit grotesque now that I think about it. I don't condone cheating, but come on. No one physically gets hurt. No one's life is over as we know it. Tell you what, if you came over here and had sex with my wife and then shot my dog, I'd probably have to kill you. Not for having sex with my wife, but for killing my dog. This is assuming that the sex was not forced sex, of course. A huge percentage of the people I know have cheated on their significant others at one time in their lives. If I kicked them all to the curb for that, I wouldn't have many friends. The first time one of my friends shoots someone's cat, I probably wouldn't want to be their friend anymore. And I happen to hate cats. Why you ask? What kind of sick individual runs around shooting people's cats? Just going to have to agree to disagree. To use you example, I would much rather someone shoot a pet than sleep with my wife/girl friend. I could get over the loss of a pet. It would take a heck of a lot more for me to get over a cheating significant other, especially if it was with someone I knew. It would plague my mind. My brother and I have always had an understanding that if we ever cheat to fully expect a severe beat down. In reference to the cats question ... evil Bill and Ted do.
  7. Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck, Charles Manson, Scott Peterson, and a whole host of crazy, psycho killers and the like agree with you. Oh, and speeders. Wasn't even my rant so I don't know where you are going with this.
  8. Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck, Charles Manson, and a whole host of crazy, psycho killers and the like agree with you. Their wives were dead already, and in their wills they stated that they wanted their husbands to murder other people since they couldn't satisfy their bloodlust anymore. Ah. I knew I was missing something. Okay, how about that Peterson dude in Chicago? You know, the cop guy. Surely, his 3 or 4 dead wives are surely worse than cheating on them? You do know what the word about means right? It means that there are a few things worse that you can do. Murder would be one of them.

  10. is that what your research has shown? That's what a friend of mine's brother had when his wife was pregnant. If there are swinger couples and many other couples that have a very weird way at approaching sex in their relationship. Not everyone has a marriage with the normal rules for sex. I'm not saying this is the case with Carlos but it's at least a possibility.
  11. What nickname? Most people call him LeBron. That's his first name. Just like people say Kobe and not Bryant.
  12. Do go on. No thanks I think I'm done. Thanks for the encouragement though. It's really appreciated that you would take time out of your busy schedule to post something so thoughtful.
  13. Remember when I said the Rockets (when they had Yao) could beat the Cavs yeahhhhh
  14. I hate people that cheat. About the worst thing you can do in my mind. With that said its not unheard of for a wife not wanting to have sex during pregnancy and allowing the husband to have sex with others during. It's rare but there are cases of it happening.
  15. And the Black Knight's arm being chopped off was 'just a flesh wound' Actually having both arms chopped off was just a flesh wound. Have at you!
  16. I'm going to go with they like the money and live in denial. It's not exactly the first one but its very similar.
  17. WHAT? Now I am about the biggest pro-LeBron, MJ fan boy there is, but this is stupid. In terms of basketball polish and translating talent to effectiveness or as you put it, "individual skill," on the court, Jordan is still ahead of LeBron. The whole point of the LeBron-MJ debate boils down to the fact that LeBron is more physically gifted than Jordan and if he can continue to develop skill, maybe he can compete with Jordan. seriously, in terms of "translating talent to effectiveness", Lebron's not nearly the most "skillful" player in the game; i'd think of a guy like Shane Battier or Brandon Roy, even Kobe before him it's arguing semantics, but that's a pretty bad description I agree with this. LeBron is so dominant because he has no equal athletically. He weighs supposedly around 265 is 6'8"-6'10" (ESPN or SI article couple months ago talked about this) but yet has the ball handling and quickness of a PG. Not even Jordan was so athletically gifted. However in terms of sheer skill i.e. jump shot, defense etc. he hasn't maximized his potential like a Battier, Kobe or Jordan has/did. Right now he is better than Kobe ever was IMO and very close to Jordan. If he reaches his full potential he can surpass everyone including Jordan.
  18. Oh an in reference to the pictures ... correct he isn't Jordan. Only one person can be Jordan. He is however LeBron and may turn out to be better than Jordan.
  19. LOL at all you Jordan D suckers. Maybe all that "juice" has deteriorated your brain. ... Jordan only acted that way in 89 because it was his first series win ... It sure was. It took him 5 years to get a series win meanwhile LeBron had already been to the Finals and won multiple first round series. You're only helping LeBron's case with that comment. ... LeBron is a clown ... Why because he enjoys the game and shows it? Sounds like someone took a bitter pill. Shouldn't you call a doctor about that boner you've had over MJ for 20 years? LeBron can't possibly be as good as MJ because he smiles and enjoys the game ... blah blah blah. LeBron may not turn out to be as good as MJ but he has done more than MJ in their first six seasons.
  20. I don't blame Cotts I blame Lou for refusing to not use him. If it was anyone else he would have called him out by now and completely benched him.
  21. Wrong. 4 innings only. If he had pitched well he would still be in the game and thus would be in route to an easy win.
