    Are you that ignorant? What are you talking about? 1. Marshall to the rotation: Marshall is currently being stretched out to start and he still would take either Marquis spot or Lieber's spot. I stated it (Marquis spot) was fluid depending on Lieber's performance 2. The Hoffpair thing changes when Edmonds becomes avail, and Pie will go down. Things change on a daily basis in that biz, try to keep up. Go ahead and ask Bruce if Hoffpauir would have been the one to come up.

    And playing time for the best CFer in the organization. Yeah, too bad that CF can't even hit .250 or he would play everyday. I'm suprised though, as of Saturday the Cubs reports were Edmonds was done. They must have dug deeper or Lou just wants him bad enough to take a flier. I don't see how it could hurt.

    There's only 39 guys on the 40 man, but this still definitely ain't happening. It suprised me too, but what will you all say when he gets called up? I'll say Lou's an idiot. But will you say it's definitely not happening????????????????? :shock:

    Hoffpaur would provide some LH hitting, Fukudome could play some CF.

    Man, I hate Bonds, but I love the idea of him in our line-up. He is exactly what we need a LH to hit 5th. :shock:

    Lou would like two LHP in the rotation. If you're going to speak this authoritatively you really need a source. Sorry, if that is the way it sounded. It's not authoritive at all. These things are always fluid, it's just that if things go well with Lieber start, and Lou would like another LHP until Hill is back. I really don't think getting into sources is good for anyone. I would never betray people I know for the sake of sounding like I knew something. I just want to contribute to this site. Then what you need to do is quite simple: never post anything in the form of this OP. If you have an absolute assertion regarding the future of the Cubs, it needs evidence. If you can't provide it, for whatever reason, it needs to have caveats of some sort. What you did here is just annoying to everyone and likely to get you ignored in the future. And the title states "Look for", not absolute assertion.

    When Scott Eyre returns, look for Marshall to take Marqis spot until Hill returns. The Cubs are going to stretch Marshall out and they will give Lieber and Marshall the oppurtunity to take those spots until Hill is back.

    If baseball were rigged, we'd see a Cubs/ Red Sox or Cubs/Yankees about every year.

    i know, i'm positive the guy just misunderstood what was going on, but he certainly didn't say it like he was joking around. Canning's group hasn't seen the books yet.

    I have mixed feelings about Cuban as owner. However, the tie-breaker is I would like to see it just to see Reinsdorf loose it. :rotfl:

    People have spoken that this will be a battle of Zell's guy (Cuban) vs. Selig and MLB's guy (Canning) and my $ is on Zell, beacuse he just don't give a crap and will raise hell publicly.
