  1. The fact that one of these bands will be ousted in the first round is a travesty.
  2. The really funny thing about that is when my buddies and I came in for the Tigers series we were sitting behind some Tiger fans in the bleachers (Saturday). Before Pierres' 1st AB, I told the Tiger fan in front of me that I would bet him $100 that JP grounded out to second. He said "of course, you're on". A second before the first pitch I told him I couldn't take his money. JP proceeded to hit into a 4-3. The guy turned and looked at me like he had just seen Moses part the Red Sea.
  3. Scratch that.....O/U is at 10 1/2. While the Sox will score a bunch, I don't want to rely on them to score 11.
  4. I'm actually looking foward to this series. I'm going to make a ton of money off the White Sox this weekend. Take the Sox moneyline, and the over boys.
  5. I rather like the idea of sending a number of guys on this team to the glue factory. If the team doesn't get any better when all these guys come back, would you call it a horsegag? I was thinking we could call the team that plays in Wrigley the CUBJ, completely useless by June.....or July, take your pick. BCB I would think January would be most appropriate.
  6. As frustrating as this team is; it's difficult to be upset with the losing when they continue to make me so much money. I hate it; yet it's wonderful all at the same time.
  7. I'm mainly rooting for them because they've been collecting thousands of dollars from me every year since 2001 for some pretty horrific baseball.
  8. Since I have season tickets; I would have to say Detroit. My buddy and I have had season tickets ever since I moved here about 5 years ago. Those were some brutal summers.
  9. There's something wrong with my perceptology ??? I'd better call my doctor, eh? Huh?
  10. The lack of ball control, good passing, and attacking is astounding. I've seen 8 year old girls play better. Calling this team pathetic is an insult to the word.
  11. Did they just say the refs are being replaced for the 2nd half? The guy next door has the game on, and said something to that effect.
  12. What a disgrace to the game. Ridiculous call after ridiculous call; followed by ridiculous non-calls. Makes me sick.
  13. Whiskey or scotch? You don't drink enough. Scotch is a type of whiskey. I think you meant scotch or bourbon. After this season you should have the difference down pat.
  14. No, but they are last in the NL in runs by a decent margin.
  15. I'll tell you my fast ball only reaches the low 70's now, but my breaking stuff is still good. Somebody give me a shot at the Cubs; I know I can make a run.
  16. Moronic freakin' management....truly sickening.
  17. MLB.TV is awesome!!! I never have problems with it.
  18. In recent years MLB has wanted to speed up games, so I have a suggestion to help. Let's start Pierre off with an 0-2 count as he's ALWAYS at that point anyways.
  19. Has anyone else been having problems with MLBTV for about the last week? It's driving me insane.
  20. How many times/ways can you write about turds?
  21. Karma is real?
  22. Down this many runs, this early; the Cubs will fail to score 3 runs.
