  1. I don't think I'd want to dedicate this to anyone. It's too cruel
  2. http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s316/Jenny-LaBoricua/Funny%20Animals/I_hate_you.jpg
  3. Shane Victorino talks faster than the Micro Machines Man
  4. You guys know he's a muslim and he wants to kill us all?!?!?! This is the forward thinking from the fine citizens of the state of Alabama (at least most of the anti-Obama peeps I've encountered so far)
  5. WTF... Brad Lidge didn't even have a horrible year last year, he shouldn't even have been allowed in the discussion. Last year, maybe, but not this year. Kerry Wood and Jorge Cantu should've been the frontrunners, and me personally I would've given it to Cantu over Wood. What Wood has done is nice, but he's always had the talent, and what he did he only did over a small course of the season in terms of innings played. Cantu spent two years playing like dirt, being shipped off to the minors, people saying he was a fluke, then he comes back and while playing in a massive pitchers park half the year, managed to hit 41 doubles, 29 home runs and drive in 95 runs. Cantu was the most deserving of this award. He was a cast off, considered just a fill in they didn't need at the beginning of the year. He's the epitome of the "Comeback Player". In fact, what he went through was similar what Pena went through up to last year. But instead of giving it to him, they give it to a reliever who played last year, and played pretty well. That's stupid
  6. just because he's not on the NLDS roster doesn't necessarily mean he won't be on the NLCS or WS roster Ahh, didn't know you could change rosters in between series, I thought it was one set lineup for the entire postseason.
  7. I understand Pie because of speed/defensive ability, but if we were to make it to the WS, I could see Hoffpauir being a fairly good DH for the series, and the fact that he's a better hitter than Ward confuses me why he isn't on the roster.
  8. Wow. Bitter much?
  9. We could always crap our pants for the Cubs
  10. pretty sure we're on that list too. and the Angels, Dodgers, Phillies, and Rangers The Rangers? Really? You sure about that?
  11. Beltran would have to waive his full NTC
  12. That's a good move, he's done such a good job these past 7 years of wasting the Steinbrenners' money and putting together the best team in the world that can't win a championship
  13. Aaaaaaaaaaand I have a new desktop background
  14. Lou rocks. I wanted him to stay Cubs manager longer than his 3-year contract after his first year, this makes me happy
  15. Already got one, maybe they'll let me ride the pine for league minimum this post season
  16. Holy crap. I knew my team was doing good this past week, but geez. I had thought Brinoch and myself had a virtually identical team because we were always within a few of each other those last few weeks. I think the people who really put me out ahead this past week were Cust and Pujols. Oh well, this is AWESOME! Especially since I lost by one point in one of the the NSBB Fantasy Baseball League's Championship Game

  18. Gotta admit, that grand slam was pretty exciting to watch.
  19. Nicely done, sir. Very impressive. Although I did laugh at your 2007 team "First Place" that came in 2nd place
  20. They did do it, according to Rotoworld...
  21. Is anyone watching the ESPN broadcast? A while ago they showed a Cubs fan in full uniform in like the 11th row behind the 1st base dugout. None other than Ronnie Woo Woo. He was also doing his annoying "Woo" thing. Not sure what he was saying though. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten beat up yet. I'm also surprised he was able to get such good seats during such an important game, regardless of rain delay or weekday
  22. I don't see the Mets getting rid of Wright until he's in his mid 30's. That guy is gonna be the face of their franchise for a long long time. I can see them moving Delgado. If they pick up his $12m option, they can sell high on him big time for that kind of money and the production he put up this year. He's gonna be 37 next year, and up until mid season, looked like his career could be in massive decline. His hot streak could be the last big numbers he puts up in his career, I think they'd be wise to pick up his option and move him Reyes, I could see them moving for sure. He's due to make $5.75M in 2009. He could bring back some huge players in return for what he brings to the table at that price. They could probably get a team's #2 or #3 starter, their #1 reliever (or 2), plus a top prospect for Reyes, IMO. Their pitching is clearly their achilles heel, they need as much help as they can get, especially with Wagner out next year. They likely won't of course, since they're always gung ho about being the best in baseball even though they clearly haven't been at all for a while now
  23. Not bad for a guy who never had an ERA under 4.18 until this year. I hope he's giving Dave Duncan a Ferrari for Christmas
  24. Thanks Larry Johnson for remembering you had talent and helping my fantasy team out when my 2nd RB gave me absolutely nothing
  25. I hate any player I pick up who has performed consistently enough to makeup a little for the injuries to my starters and then performs like crap when I put them in the lineup to replace them I'm looking at you, Pierre Thomas. Of course, the news articles on my fantasy site that said Thomas would be the short yardage carrier from here on out failed to mention that McCallister was healthy and playing this week
