  1. lol, they're absolutely still going to lose this game, aren't they?
  2. another nice play from Morel at 3rd... when it's all instinct/reaction, he seems to do better
  3. I think with the division being so bad this year, you give yourself as much time as possible to make this decision. Overall though, they need to be looking to probably consolidate some good, B-type prospects for some younger players who might move the needle a little more - not that I have any real idea who might be out there
  4. did this one twice today, using unique players for each set...
  5. Happ! 2 game (season?) saving throws in 2 innings!

  7. Mike Trout fractured his hamate bone, which means he will be on the injured list through at least the trade deadline and possibly considerably longer than that. CBS Sports mentioned that Cody Bellinger is a possible replacement for an injured Trout. The Cubs have a difficult decision to make in Bellinger. If they're interested in offering him the qualifying offer, they can retain Bellinger in 2024 for roughly $20m or, if he declines the offer, Chicago can receive a supplemental draft pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. It should be noted that the Angels have a notoriously weak farm system, ranked 28th by MLB.com going into the 2023 season. View full rumor

  9. If it makes sense, would love to see Palencia directly follow Hendricks today. Talk about a contrast in stuff
  10. I just think they can't get nearly enough for Zach to make them feel like it's worth it. He's not good enough that a bad team is going to give up lots of picks, and most of the good teams won't give up good young players in return. Best you're going to get is far off draft picks and lottery ticket-type players, and I'm sure Reinsdorf isn't interested in that because they're almost a playoff team with what they've got, and can stumble their way into that sweet extra playoff revenue.
  11. I remember watching that Marrero injury... looked ugly when it happened
  12. Lol, Portland gave Jeremi Grant like $160M/5 and Dame requested a trade today.
  13. There's just no way the Cards would trade Goldschmidt to us unless they knew he was totally and completely broken. They can't take the hit with their fans this year, even if we overpaid.
  14. used Bonds for 100 RBI and still got 9/9... some real reaches for Rockies/Dbacks and Giants/Rockies and one I was pretty sure on for Pirates/Dbacks
  15. my lowest ones today were
  16. I got 8/9 today... missed on Cleveland/KC
  17. I used Daniel Hudson for Sox/Dodgers. 0.2% Didn't get Sox/Yankees. Because I struggled with 3000 Ks
  18. assuming something abdominal
  19. Gio looked awfully hobbled during the celebration
  20. Well, we know Gregg isn't pulling the strings behind the scenes, because there is no way he would play this lineup.
  21. playing without two of our best players in the final because of stupid retaliatory red cards, when we are already down Adams... not ideal
  22. not sure if I can do another bench transaction yet... but if so drop: Kris Bryant Add: Corbin Carroll
  23. Are we sure the AAA ball isn't juiced?
