    I think Brown's lack of catches was a lot about the offense they ran. He was very comfortable catching the ball.     Saw someone mention (maybe one of the BN guys?) that maybe it's to keep Mancini (relatively) sharp on defense for when Hosmer is inevitably cut loose and Mervis comes up. I guess the thinking is that maybe Mervis won't play as frequently as Hosmer has been? idk...

    I understand they want Mervis to prove it a little more, and for Morel to get regular at-bats, but actively not having your best roster is so frustrating when it seems like they've got a decent team. Their lineup is a clear weakness, and they're keeping Torrens and Hosmer around and gave too many ABs to Mastrobuoni.
