A non-AQ school can qualify for the BCS without filling the usual qualifications for doing so if they finish ahead of one of the BCS AQ champs in the final standings. I think that's what you're thinking of. There is no scenario in which a BCS AQ champ does not go to a BCS game. I knew I had that wrong

There are a lot of NFL players in both these defenses. In that they will be good enough to play in the nfl, or they are already being paid like nfl players? I'd guess paying players is less of an issue than allowing a coach to rape little boys in the shower. Penn State built a special shower for Sandusky to rape kids in. :roll:

Finally home from work and turning the game on, and [expletive] me, ND/WF is on ABC and OkSU/KSU or Bama/LSU is nowhere to be found. ESPN3 it is, I guess EDIT: Forgot Bama/LSU was on CBS.

the Sandusky story is really disappointing. I was really hoping it wasn't true, less because of his PSU affiliation, and more because I grew up with some of his kids (went to school with them, youth group, etc.) The Sandusky family has done a tremendous amount of positive things in the State College community, both with the Second Mile foundation and various other charities. But PSU absolutely gets what they deserve for the perjury charges, etc.,

I didn't realize how well NaVorro Bowman has done in San Fran. Dude is 2nd in the NFL in tackles right now and this is only his 2nd year.

Good timing on the bye week for PSU. I feel better about a home date against Nebraska with 2 weeks to gameplan. While OSU beating Wisconsin helped PSU in the standings, it gives OSU momentum heading into the PSU/OSU game on 11/19. OSU has Indiana and Purdue next, meaning a lot of confidence building. PSU can beat OSU on paper, but it's in Columbus. Maybe OSU will be looking ahead to the Michigan game? We'll see. Ending the season @Wisconsin seems like a sure loss.
