Not at all. I've been a fan for over 20 years. When I say "ignore them" I mean not watch every game. I've watched as many games as I could this year. In 2013 I didn't go out of my way to watch them. Did I care that they sucked at the time? Of course....it sucked. Do I let that suckitude temper my enthusiasm in 2015? Not one bit And if the current plan results in the team somehow sucking again next year, I'll care about it then. Not now
Then why would you even click on this thread? The title of the thread is "worth it?" Clearly it was worth it, because I'm enjoying them NOW and could largely ignore them when they sucked
The past is the past. Who cares how we got here when we've got here. Why would I let a crappy 2013 or whatever tarnish or ruin my enjoyment of this season?
I guess, though in this instance it reads to me as "the Cubs have a lot of men on base for their core hitters, and those hitters are getting hits with RISP. it means something
Remember when people argued that bringing up Russell and Schwarber this year was a bad idea? they did? Maybe not many here, but certainly many in Cubs fandom. Those of the "2016 is the real year to contend" camp
that's equal parts awesome and random. is it some variation of the cochlear implant? think it's called a bone conduction hearing aid? I have zero hearing problems but I want one of those
