Putting him on the 60 day removes him from counting towards the 40-man so they can add a guy who currently isn't on the 40-man without having to make a corresponding move other than 60 day DL'ing Schwarber. With the 15 day he still counts on the 40-man. Right, so why not take advantage of that? Is it because the person who would fill his 40 man spot would have to be removed when he's added back next season? No one worth adding? Saving the spot for potential trades? -

For those who understand roster juggling better than me (ie everyone), what's the benefit of putting Schwarber on the 15 day DL instead of the 60 day DL when he's guaranteed out for the season? -
So needless to say, this year's CBJ season sucked balls, but there are silver linings: - Saad and Jenner (both 23) had 30 goal seasons - Atkinson (age 26) had 27 goals - rookie goalie Joonas Korpisalo (16-11, 2.60 GAA, .920 Sv%) could make Bobrovsky an expendable asset They need huge help defensively, though, as they are almost dead last in goals allowed.

Dan is ok when he's paired with Laurence Holmes, or someone else willing to debate him that he can't just scream at. Boers is just there to make funny noises and grab a paycheck, and lets Dan just have his way. Oh yeah, Terry is such a pushover. Occasionally he will give his opinion on something, Dan will politely argue it, and Terry completely caves. But then he says "by cracky" and a good time is had by all
