Because casual fans who think the games are too long will always think the game is too long. It's a game with a lot of "no-action" time, and barring a pitch clock, it will always be that way. Changing extra innings or eliminating four pitch IBB's is t adding a single fan

I kind of doubt they're best friends off the field or anything. Just kind of that guy you really get along with at work or whatever. Too different lifestyle wise. Rizzo is a big time partier and Bryant, jokes aside, not so much. Good friends, sure (I mean, he stood up at his wedding), but I don't imagine them hanging out off field a ton aside from team functions. KB is a boring Mormon baseball robot. Don't dump water on my imagined bromance
