This sounds so Derwood-like Well I then moved to New Jersey, then Pennsylvania, and stopped watching baseball for about a decade. Didn't become a Cubs fan until 1992 when I started at DePaul and would go up and see day games after class.

Why would it be annoying? The polls mean nothing. (Yes UMFan is ripping on caring about power rankings. It's been that kind of weekend) Mildly annoying on top of the major annoyance that polls exist. I also don't believe for a second that the playoff committee ignores polls like they claim

Penn State dropping is annoying but completely justified, as they didn't play as strong an opponent as Clemson, Oklahoma or USC (though it didn't hurt Alabama any)
