  1. wait what?
  2. Everyone is waiting for Schwarber to heat up, but that will equally improve 90% of the teams, so yeah
  3. This game is about to be relegated to the laptop so I can watch something actually entertaining on the TV
  4. let's hope they just cancel this one and restart it at a later date. this is a disaster
  5. Any chance we trade for Verlander?
  6. He's absolutely loving every moment of it. I guess I'm projecting because I got tired of it yesterday
  7. How tired is Mike Bryant of doing interviews every game?
  8. One day after the draft, the Bills have fired their GM and their entire scouting staff
  9. The success rate being better in the first round than any other round doesn't mean the success rate is 100%. Geez. I'm not saying it is. I was basically joking but "Derwood" so whatever
  10. Most successful QB's were drafted in the first round. But so were JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf and Rick Mirer
  11. Is the official Bryzzo Souvenir Company tshirt available anywhere? Amazon has a bunch of Bryzzo shirts, but not that one
  12. I know they're saying Glennon is the starter, but I doubt they gave up all those picks to move up to draft a backup for next year. Whoever starts has basically no one to throw too, so I'm not sure if it matters much
  13. They're just going to dink and dunk and BABIP and sac fly us to death, aren't they
  14. Is Jerry Angelo back drafting?
  15. yeah, it's a mess, the Bears only got a guy that they feel is a franchise QB and were able to acquire more picks later. jeez, disaster city. I mean what are the plans to recoup the talent they missed out on in the third round? what a crisis. When a team has needs all over the field, depth of picks is actually a good thing.
  16. I didn't like the pick. Don't think Trubisky is going to be good. But, giving up a 3rd, a 4th, and a future 3rd? That's a small price to pay to get the assurance you got YOUR guy. Those picks can(and mostly were) recouped. SF's guy was Thomas. You could've let SF pick at #2 and still picked Trubisky. Who else was going to trade up to #2 for him? If the Browns wanted him, they would've taken him at #1. The Jets didn't even take a QB. HOU and KC would have had to give up a ton more than the Bears did to move up that many spots. If SF is saying "we have people on the line who want to move up to our spot" you say, "cool, if another team trades up for Trubisky, we're taking your guy (Thomas) at #3" and call their bluff
  17. The more time there is to think about it, the worse the trade up for Trubisky looks. Rookie GM Lynch looks like he fleeced Pace here. Whatever story he spun about other teams wanting to trade up to #2 worked, but it was all BS and the 49ers got their guy AND a bunch of picks. What a mess
